The Day I Met Zoella (Zoella FanFic)

Chapter Three

A/N: So here I am with another update! I don't even think anyone is actually reading this but oh well! Sorry it has been so long since I have updated. It's because I don't think anyone is actually reading it so I haven't really bothered to update. But as soon as I know someone is reading it I will update a lot more frequently!

I wake up to the sound of 'Drag Me Down' by One Direction. I get up straight from my bed because I'm so excited to see Zoe! I go down the stairs singing my lungs out. "Nobody can drag me...down!" I sing while jumping to the floor.

"Hi Alex!" Lily, a 6 year old girl says to me. "Hi Lily!" I say while giving her a hug. "Someone seems to be in a good mood!" Lucy says while I walk into the kitchen. "How could I not be when I am meeting the one and only Zoe Sugg?" I say spinning around.

"It's 9 o'clock now, should I start school?" I ask Lucy as I put my dishes away. "It's up to you! We're leaving at around 11 o'clock so just be ready by quarter to eleven." She tells me. "Okay!" I say while going straight upstairs.

I look in my wardrobe to find a really nice outfit to wear (A/N: Outfit is here - http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=175300808) I brush my teeth and do my hair. I take a minute to look at myself in the mirror. I think I look okay. I say to myself.

I decided I'll do school tonight so I can just focus on getting ready to meet Zoe. Gosh I'm so excited! Since I'm ready, I scroll through Social Media and just play on my phone. Finally it is 10:50am so Lucy and I can get ready to go to Waterstones.

"You ready?" Lucy asks me as I walk in to the hallway. "Yep!" I say making sure I have everything I need. We both walk out the orphanage and get into Lucy's car. "You excited?" Lucy asks me as she starts the car. "Very!" I answer.

About 10 minutes later we arrived at Waterstones. "Wow! Look how many people there are!" I say pointing at the long line. "That's a lot of people!" Lucy says trying to find a park. 20 minutes later we finally find a park. We both hop out of the car and start lining up.

"Okay, well I am going to cut this line off here so you will be the last to meet Zoella." A security guard tells us. "Wow. Thank you!" I say. "Did you hear that Lucy? We're going to be the last people to meet Zoe!" I say getting way to excited.

The line gets shorter and shorter each hour. Both Lucy and I have been waiting for about 3 hours now but it looks like there is around 100 people to go. "I'm so hungry!" I groan. It's around 2 o'clock and I haven't eaten since breakfast. "Have this." Lucy says passing me a snack bar. "Thank you!" I say to her.

Finally we make it in to the actual book store. "I can see Zoe!" I shout to no one in particular receiving weird looks from people around me. I don't really care about them. I just want to meet Zoe. "Calm Alex, calm." I tell myself.

"How many people until it is our turn?" I ask the security guard behind us. "Let me check." He says and walks off. In about 10 seconds he's back. "Only about 5 or so." He says. "Cool, thanks." I say smiling. "We're getting so close now Lucy!" I say jumping up and down.

"Next." Someone says and Lucy and I walk towards Zoe. "Hi!" I say while walking up to her. "Hi! What's your name?" She says hugging me. "Alex." I say, hugging her back. "Nice to meet you!" She says with a smile. Wow she is so gorgeous.

"And who's this?" Zoe asks referring to Lucy. "This is my orphanage carer, Lucy. "Hi, nice to meet you!" Lucy says deciding to give Zoe a hug. "You to!" Zoe says. I give her my book to sign and she signs it.

"Well, since you're last in line, I always like to do something special. So how about we go out for coffee and cake maybe tomorrow?" She asks. "Yes yes yes!" I say a little too excited. "Cool! Lucy you can come as well!" Zoe says smiling. "I would but I have to take care of the kids. I'll just drop off Alex." Lucy says smiling.

Lucy and Zoe exchange phone numbers and then we both say goodbye to Zoe. "Bye Zoe! I'll see you tomorrow! Can't wait!" I say hugging her one more time. "Me too!" She says while waving to me and Lucy as we both walk towards the door of Waterstones.

"Thank you so much for taking me Lucy!" I say very excitedly. "No problem! Now promise me you'll do school when you get back?" She asks me. "Of course I will!" I say with a huge smile on my face. Lucy and I drive back to the orphanage listening to the radio.

*Lucy's POV*

It's now 10 o'clock in the evening and Alex and all of the other kids are asleep. My phone starts to ring and I look at the Caller ID. Zoe. Z = Zoe L = Lucy
L – Hi Zoe!
Z – Hi Lucy!
L – What's up?
Z – Well I was talking to my boyfriend Alfie, who you probably have heard of.
L – PointlessBlog, right?
Z - Yeah. Well I was talking to him about my book signing today and I mentioned Alex and how she was in an orphanage.
L – Okay.
Z – And we both have been thinking of this for a while but we have been wanting to adopt a child. So we were both wondering if we were able to adopt Alex? She seems like a really sweet girl and tomorrow we would both love to get to know her better.
L – Of course! But there will be paper work to sign and we will have to do background checks to see if you are able to be an adoptive parent.
Z – That is perfectly fine! Alfie and I would be so privileged to be able to adopt Alex. Could we do one of the meet ups tomorrow at Nandos? Alfie would be able to come too so she could get to know us both better than just watching it on her computer screen.
L – That's a great idea! Does 12:30 sound okay?
Z – Sounds great! I'll see you guys then!
L – Yep! Look forward to meeting up with you both tomorrow!
Z – You too! Bye!
L – Bye!

And with that the phone call ended. I can't believe Alex is going to be adopted. I am really happy for her but she has always been the one to help with the little kids. I'm going to miss her a lot.
