The Day I Met Zoella (Zoella FanFic)

Chapter Two

A/N: I hope you enjoyed the first chapter and want to continue to read! I'll try and update when I can :) I am surprised I got this up the day after the first chapter! Just letting you know, don't expect this all the time because tomorrow is Monday meaning I have school the whole week (Monday to Friday) :/ Enjoy! :)

I wake up to the sound of waves crashing against the sand. The orphanage is across the road from the beach which is cool because I have a view of the beach from my bedroom. I start to get up from my bed thinking that I have something to do but I can't remember what. I walk over to my wardrobe still trying to think what I had to do. "Ah forget it." I say as I start searching for clothes.

While I am looking for clothes I realise what I had to do. "Twitter!" I say, running to my computer to check my Twitter. I go straight to Zoe and Alfie's account to see that they both have a new tweet:

Oh my gosh. Zoe will be doing a book signing in Brighton! She hasn't done one in ages so I am so excited! I just need someone to take me. Being 12, I obviously don't have a car. Maybe Lucy will take me. Oh I hope so. As if Lucy could read my mind, she comes my room holding a tray of French Toast and a glass of Juice.

"Thank you!" I tell her as she sets down my breakfast. "No problem!" she smiles. "Now why do you seem so happy?" She asks me. "Oh you know.....just that ZOEISDOINGABOOKSIGNINGTOMORROWINBRIGHTON!" I blurt out. "Just that what..?" Lucy questions. "Just that Zoe is doing a book signing tomorrow here in Brighton!" I say with a huge smile on my face.

After about 10 minutes of talking to Lucy, I finally convinced her to take me. "Where is it?" She asks me. "Um..." I say while looking at my laptop to see where it is. "Waterstones." I say. "Oh cool. That's only about 10 minutes away!" She says and then exits the room. I go onto Zoe's vlog and click the link in the description which leads me to a different website.

When my page has loaded I order two tickets for tomorrow. I use Lucy's credit card and then print out the tickets. I leave the tickets on my desk so I don't forget them tomorrow then go down stairs to let Lucy know I bought them. "All done!" I say as I skip into Lucy's office. "Great! Now get started with school please!" She says and I make my way back to my room.

Since going to a public or private school would be quite difficult, I am home schooled and have been ever since I came here. I do it online which is good because I can stay in my pyjamas but for some reason I always get changed. Before I start school, I decide to have a quick shower to freshen up. I get my clothes and hop into the shower.

Once I am done, I dry my hair and get changed. (A/N: Outfit is here - http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=172528518) When I am changed, I hang up my towel and go to my desk to start my school. I would do it on my bed but since I have a computer not a laptop, I can't.

I don't know why but Mondays seem to be my favourite day of the week. Normally everyone hates Mondays. But I love them. I like the thought of a new week and starting fresh. (A/N: This is NOT me in real life aha) My first lesson on Mondays is always English which is one of my favourite subjects. I check the time to see that it is 10:30. I usually take about 3 – 4 hours to finish one day of school.

It is now 2:00 and I have finally finished school. I don't really take breaks in school because I like to get it over and done with and do fun stuff in the afternoon. I run down the stairs and nearly crash into a kid. "Sorry Lucas!" I say. He just continues to run up the stairs. I walk into the kitchen and decide to make some lunch.

I end up putting a meat pie in the oven because I really felt like one. While it is in the oven, I get my favourite drink, Pink Grape Fruit and Guava Sparkling Water, from the fridge and poor it into a glass. About 10 – 15 minutes later, the oven beeps meaning my pie is finished. I get some oven gloves and grab the tray with the pie out of the oven and put the pie on a plate.

When I have finished both my pie and my drink, I go into Lucy's office to tell her more information about tomorrow. "Hey Lucy!" I say as I walk through her office door. "Hey Alex. What's up?" She asks me. "Just letting you know that the book signing starts at 3:00 tomorrow." I tell her. "Okay cool! We'll make sure we leave around 11 o' clock." She says. "Okay!" I say then walk out the door.

It's now 9:00 and I have had dinner, brushed my teeth and have said goodnight to everyone. I shut down my computer and get under my covers. I put my phone on charge and turn my lamp off. I am so excited to meet Zoe tomorrow! So so excited!
