Chapter Six

A/N – I just want to thank you guys for reading this :) I actually have people reading this and I can't belive it. Even though it's not 100 people but I know at least one person is reading this and I only just started this book :) Also, I am so sorry it has been ages since I updated. I've just been really busy with holidays and school trips but this is a long chapter so enjoy Chapter Six!

So a few weeks ago I found out that Zoe and Alfie had cleared all the tests and were able to adopt me! I was so excited!
*Flashback*
"I have some big news!" Lucy says excitedly. "What, what!?" I question getting excited. "Zoe and Alfie have cleared all the tests and are able to adopt you!" She says with a smile. "Oh my gosh! That's awesome!"
*Flashback Over*

So since then I have been going out with Zoe and Alfie and have been visiting their house. I also met Nala who is the cutest thing in the world. Today I am being adopted for good. I'm nervous and excited at the same time.

I found it a bit hard to trust Alfie at the start because of my experience with men but I knew that Alfie would definitely not be like that so I had to trust him. Also I have seen in Zoe and Alfie's vlogs that he's good with kids so I think I have nothing to worry about.

I am in my room now packing some last things to take to my new home when I hear a knock on my door. "Come in." I say. "Hey Alex. Are you nearly ready?" Lucy asks me. "Yep, done now!" I say zipping up my suit case. "Good. Zoe and Alfie should be here in about an hour." Lucy says walking out the door. "Okay." I say.

About half an hour later I hear Lucy yell from downstairs, "Children! Please come down stairs!". I walk down the stairs and into the main room where all the kids are. "Today we say goodbye to Alex who has been with us for quite some time." Lucy says, a tear sliding down her cheek.

After about 10 minutes later, I've said my goodbyes to everyone. "I better go and get my stuff from my room." I say wiping a tear off my face. I make my way upstairs and into my room. I gather my last things including my phone and walk towards the door. I walk out in the corridor and shut the door. "Good bye." I say.

I bet your thinking 'Why is she saying goodbye?' 'Weirdo'. The reason I said goodbye is because that has literally been my home for six years and now I'm saying goodbye. Although the room wasn't the best room, it was still a place I would be in all the time.

I make my way downstairs and into the hallway where Lucy is standing. "I'm going to miss you." I say pulling her in for a hug. "I'm going to miss you too." Lucy says. "Thank you for everything." I say a tear sliding down my cheek. The doorbell interrupts out goodbye.

"Zoe! Alfie!" I say running up to them, Zoe first. I get to Alfie and he picks me up. I laugh as he puts me down. I go to Lucy and hug her one more time. Once I've hugged her I go back and stand with Zoe and Alfie. "We'll come and visit soon!" Zoe says brightly. "Bye!" Alfie says and all three of us walk down the drive way.

We get to the car and I open the back door. "Nala!" I say when I see her sitting in the back seat. I get in the car and put my seat belt on. "I've missed you!" I say patting her on the head and putting her on my lap.

We arrive at the home and it looks how it looked a week ago when I visited. I walk in and already get a homey (A/N: Don't know if 'Homey' is a word but it is for now) feeling. "Would you like to see your room?" Alfie asks me. "Of course!" I say following them both up the stairs.

We get to the second floor and stand outside of a door I've never seen inside in the vlogs or when I have visited. "Here it is!" Alfie says opening the door. I walk in, with my mouth wide opened, and just stand there. "Do you like it?" Zoe asks. "I love it!" I say giving them both a hug.
