The next day we all went to Ridgway park and had a picnic. It was amazing. people were playing music, people were dancing and having fun and enjoying life. I loved all this positive energy. Then I started to feel cramps, like painful cramps and I groaned in pain. Everyone asked me if I was okay then I looked at Cameron and said its time. He looked confused then I yelled the baby's coming as I felt the baby painfully coming. They rushed me to the car and we sped off to the hospital. The whole painful ride there Cameron held my hand, I squeezed so hard I'm surprised I didn't break his wrist. I started to shout in pain as I felt her head pushing against my uterus. We finally arrived at the hospital and I sat in the wheel chair while they rushed me down the hall to find me and available room. When they found one they told me only one person in the room. Cameron stayed. He called our parents and told them I was in labor and they all arrived in 5 minutes or less.
I'm not going into any major detail of how the birth went but about a half an hour later my daughter was born. Cameron had passed out when he seen the head. While the pain slowly wore off I wanted to hold my baby. They handed me my beautiful baby girl. They asked me what her name was going to be and i told them, Mariah Rose Stewart-Davis. Everyone smiled. Eventually Cameron woke up, but I had fallen asleep and the baby was in a crib next to me sleep. He looked at me and looked at Mariah and I faintly heard him say, your so beautiful. You look just like your mother. He then picked her up because she started crying, he sat in the rocking chair, gave her the bottle and rocked her back to sleep. My mom came in the room with the camera and took picture of Cameron holding the baby. She posted them on Facebook and tagged us in them with the status as "Look whos already a daddies girl". It had over 800 likes and 700 comments saying congratulations she's beautiful. They told me I could take her home tomorrow when we woke up. At home I already had a life time supply of diaper, wipes, clothes, toys, bottles and stories. I couldn't wait to take my baby girl home. I will forget the best day ever, 6-22-15. 7lbs 8ounces.
