Chapter Thirty Three- "I thought she died?"
Indiana's POV:
Going back to college was a nightmare. But I knew I missed too much on my education to miss more. I've missed on months on my college which meant I had to come after college times for tutor.
The amount of stares I got was unreal. I've never felt so uncomfortable. As I walked past people just moved to the side leaving me in the middle alone while the entire college just stared at me.
"Didn't she get stabbed?"
"I thought she died?"
"Can you believe she didn't even tell Isaac she was pregnant? How selfish?"
"Why is she back? Probably for attention"
"Isaac dumbed her sorry black ass"
Whispering took over the whole college. Everyone knew my business, everyone knew everything. I didn't need to be reminded of all of that. I've finally come past it and I'm back where it's brought all back again.
"Miss Jonathan, it's good to have you back" one of the teachers said walking out of the office
I just dropped my head tightening my hand around my bag quickly rushing to my room. As soon as I walked in I noticed my side of the bed was already taken.
"Indiana?!" I heard a familiar voice
I turn around to see a small petite girl with blonde hair and big blue eyes. A big smile if stretched on her face making her eyes smaller. She then runs towards my body wrapping her arms around me.
"I'm so sorry, I heard you came out about three days ago" she sighs "I wanted to come I swear but I couldn't" she explains "College caught up with me real bad, how are you?" She asks letting go of me
To be honest I wasn't entirely sure how I felt towards her. She didn't come and visit me, she visited me once and that was months ago. She claims to be my best friend but the best excuse she's got is that she got caught up with college? Couldn't she come just one day to visit me?
Not even a phone call? I was allowed visitors and all of my family and friends were told about that. Including her. Where was she when I needed her?
"Fine" I simply say "So who's taken my place already?" I asked curiously crossing my arms raising my eyebrows
"No one thought you would come back, we heard you were referred to a mental home-
"Right" I interrupt her "My bad, I'll just go find out if any spare rooms are available" I snap turning around
I turn around and Chloe is standing at the door. She's got a little sad smile on her face.
"Oh look" I sigh faking an excitement "My other best friend, so Chloe what's your excuse for not even calling me or visiting me when I needed as much support as possible?" I ask
"I'm so sorry-
I just laugh sarcastically trying to make my way out. She blocks my way.
"Please" she begs "Just listen-
"Move"
"No" she slowly says
"You know I've been really tempered lately, I really don't want to knock you teeth back in" I warn "Move" I sternly say
She looks at me for a long while. She then looks back at Alex then she moves. I barge past them storming off. Everyone was looking at me again.
"Have I suddenly grew an extra nose?!" I scream "Stop fucking staring at me!"
