Chapter 28
ISAACS POV:
"How is he?" I asked over the phone laying on my bed
"He's missing you, we both are" she whispered sadly
"I miss him too" I truthfully say not mentioning I missed her
The truth was I didn't. All she ever wanted was me, I made it clear so many times I was in love but she never seems to understand. The words spread fast, that we were not together anymore which meant she thought we had a chance. To be entirely fair I don't ever see myself moving on. When I try to she just stops me, then I feel bad and refill cold in my heart blocking out any girl.
"Tell him I'll call tomorrow then you can put him on the phone, give him a kiss and tell him it's from me" I tell
"Good night Isaac" she whispered which I assumed she walked towards sleeping Alarico
"Good night"
I end the call dropping my phone on top of my drawer. I pull my white shirt over my head laying under the fan. I dropped back on the bed sighing because of the heat.
A light knock echoed through my room from my front door. I got up suspiciously walking opening the door. Joanna stood their with a cup in her hand, it looked like a drink with some ice. She left her long straight hair down, wearing a vest and some skinny white jeans. She wore heels with ur making her equally as tall as I was.
"Steve asked me to give you this" she grumbled clearly not happy giving it to me
I opened the door wide pointing at my drawer. She rolls her eyes dragging her feet dropping the cup on the table. She then turned around walking towards the door, but I close it before she can leave.
She put her hand on he hips raising her eyes brows at me.
"What do you want?" She asked not bothered
"Have a drink with me" I offered her
She looked at me dropping her eyes brows then narrows her eyes at me in disbelief. She then folds her arm over her chest looking at me suspiciously like I was playing a joke.
"Why should I?" She asked
"Because I'd like to have a drink with you" I answered taking a step towards her
She swallows a lump then looks up at me nodding.
"Fine" she agrees walking towards my bed, she then picks up my drink taking a big gulp sighing
I walk towards her sitting besides her. She looked sad and lost, but then covered it up with a fake smile. She then looks up at me deep in my eyes.
"Tell me about this girl" she whispers lightly looking at me
"She was the most beautifulest girl I have ever, ever met in my entire life" I simply say "She was like the only girl that caught my eyes in school...they were plenty of girls with bigger boobs, better curves, bigger ass but nothing was more luring than her" I finish sighing looking down
I drop my head in my hands remembering her. Everything about her just destroyed me. Just knowing that she wasn't mine anymore. Just thinking that I didn't have that same right to circle my arms around her waist. She wasn't mine. I couldn't do that. I had no right to do that.
I couldn't press her small body frame straight into mines enveloping her into me. I couldn't whisper "I love you" in her ear anymore. I couldn't kiss her.
Instead Barrueco's nasty hands were all over her. She didn't know him, she didn't understand how crazy that kid was. He was walking fire and everyone around him was suffocated with his smoke. Then again so was I... She was hurt because of me.
