Chapter 22

Isaac's POV:

"She's hasn't started college yet" Gabe told me walking in

I swirled around in my seat looking at him.

"Maybe she's at home resting, she should be out by now" I tell him shaking my head

"She's not at home either" he argues back shrugging

"Then where the fuck is she?!" I snarled

He looked down slowly shaking his head. All these negative thoughts came to my head. Maybe she was in danger.

"I asked the hospital and all they told me was that she was referred to another area more suitable for her" Gabriel spoke

"She got stabbed tell me where other place other than the fucking hospital can fix that?" I ask him kneeling my elbows on my desk

He shook his head empty.

"I ask you to do one thing and all you can tell your boss is that the love of his life is not at home... And not at the hospital..." I trailed off "I want her found otherwise I swear on the one God I'll slit your throat" I slam my hand on the table

He stumbled a little scurrying off. He leaves the door opened watching him leave. I get up closing the door behind me. I walk straight past the lounge where the men sat smoking. I closed that door walking past some more rooms. One room had men with white shirts sweaty with cigarets hanging off their lips. Smoke floating blocking their eyes fixing the guns.

I closed that door coming to a dark room. To the far left there was some punching bags hung from the ceiling. Some women were punching aggressively at the bag watching it fling. As soon as it made its way back they struck it again hard.

On the left there was a ring, in the ring were two people. A man and a woman. The guy was jumping on the spot blocking his face with his arms raised up. The woman had her hair tied in a high pony tail with her hands on her hip. She leant on one side watching him. He struck but she dodged casually.

He then started to jump again and she raised a perfect foot sending him to the ground in seconds. He then grabbed on to her leg bringing her down with him. He slipped his arms around her waist while she shouted asking him to get of her.

He just grinned slipping one hand down her pants. I take a step forward watching carefully. She struggles underneath him while he continues to touch her. Anger and rage fills as I take wide steps towards the ring. I pull out my pistol aiming his left leg which was holding her down.

Then I pulled the trigger.

He groans out loud watching her push him off her. He pulls his leg up watching him bleed. He then looks at me angrily pulling his gun. His eyes soften when he realised who I was and dropped the gun.

"Boss" he stuttered scared

I knelt down grabbing on his collar his breath hitching.

"Touch another girl again and I promise I'll make sure your dead" I spat

I the smashed his head back on the ring. He moved back watching people crowd around the ring. Some had first aid and looked at me wordily. They asked me from their eyes if they had my permission. I nod and they all run towards him.

The girl stands up looking up at me. Her chest floating up and down. Worry on her face, she was scared. She then stand up straight and hides all her emotions with a straight face. She had brown mousy hair in a high ponytail going down her back. Her skin a mixture between pale and tan. Her eyes hazel brown standing out.

She looks at me from head to toe and walks off. Before she walks off grab onto her arm dragging her opposite me.

"I think you forgot to say thank you" I reminded her my arms tightening around her arm but no sign of pain showed on her face

"Thank you" she spat "Boss" she hissed sarcastically

I narrow my eyes at her curiously. Who was she? I then let go of her but she doesn't move. She then flicks her hair back and walks away.

I looked back at her and disappeared in the dark. I shook my head jumping off the ring continued to make my way to the very back. Once I reached I closed the door behind me. The room was filled with light from technology. Light blared from computer screen from which people stuffed their head in.

They had bandanas on that was hung off their face on their neck typing fast on the keyboards. These were our geniuses. Now not the nerdy type you'd expect with glasses. Most of them were criminals who I let help me out. They had dreams, which was hard to believe. They were smart,very smart. Some the top best fraud and hackers.

"I need to find out information on Indiana Elizabeth Jonathan" I tell one leaning on the computer

He nods typing her name in. A small loading sign came on.

"It's going to take a while boss" he told me "Come back around noon" he told me looking back at the screen

I nod making my way back.

Indiana's POV:

I woke up the next morning feeling like shit. I had a dream of Isaac and it hurt to even see his face. No matter how much he hurt me I still missed him no matter what. He left me because I was in danger... What other way is there to show love?

He had to leave because of me. I wasn't sure whether I was grateful for him thinking about my safety before his. Or if I was angry him not at least telling me to my face.

I remembered his large hands enveloping my hands into his. I closed my eyes and my eyes started to tear up. The amount of tears I shed for him was unreal, I cried day and night. Literally.

Then I thought back to Lucas, which made me smile. Then back to Isaac which made my heart smile. I loved Isaac and I always will no matter what. With Lucas... I liked him more, like a crush. Lucas didn't deserve me though because if Isaac stood right in front of me right now. I wouldn't help but fall to my knees. I'm scared I'd have to choose.

So I had to avoid leading Lucas because I didn't want to hurt him. Because he deserves someone that loves him and love him only. Not someone who loved someone else.
