*A while after short epilogue from previous chapter*
Avery had locked herself in her room for half the day in embarrassment from the morning's humiliation.
"Come on Avery, I was only teasing." Roxas grinned on the other side of her door.
"No! That was harassment!" Avery yelled, still flustered and frustrated. Roxas frowned.
"Aww, I can't give my partner a hug?" he whined.
Avery threw a pillow at the door, but Roxas simply chuckled at that and she continued to pout. Roxas sighed as he looked down at the locked doorknob of his partner's room. He lengthened the claw on his thumb and slipped it into the strangely shaped keyhole of the doorknob and unlocked it. He opened the door and silently stepped into Avery's room. She was sitting on her bed, slightly bent over. The sunlight of the open window shown upon her long chocolate brown hair that slipped over her face, while her brilliant green eyes focused on the sketchpad she held in front of her. Roxas crawled up on the bed, sitting behind her as he rested his chin on her shoulder. He looked down at the sketchpad and saw drawings of himself as a chibi.
"You look cuter like this." she smirked. Roxas frowned at this as he wrapped his arms around her pouted.
"What? I'm not cute now?" he whined.
"Shut up." Avery mumbled as she put down her sketchbook, leaned back on Roxas, and let out a big sigh.
Roxas looked down at his tired Tamer's face, as she closed her eyes and leaned her cheek on the collar of his chest. Roxas brushed a long strand of Avery's hair behind her ear and he inhaled deeply as the sweet flowery sent of her shampoo and moisturiser filled his nose. Suddenly, Avery straitened her back as she tries to sit up, almost making Roxas tumble forward.
"Roxas, let go, I have to the bathroom." she stated.
"No, I'm comfy." pouted, hugging her back down on his chest, burying his face in her neck. She sighed as she tried pushed his face away. Roxas liked to cuddle, so getting him off was not an easy matter.
"Roxas, do you want me to pee on you?" she asked, looking back to raise an eye-brow at him. He sighed in defeat as he let her go.
As soon as she left the room, Roxas grabbed the sketchbook and took a peek in it. On the page Avery left off, were multiple little versions of himself, everywhere on the page. He flipped the pages toward the beginning and found sketches of himself on every single page. Smiling, laughing, pouting, frowning, and much more. He smiled as he looked through the pages, and suddenly the door opened.
"Roxas! What are you doing?!" Avery screeched as she reached for the shetchpad. She managed to get a hold of it and clutched it tightly to her chest, blushing hard. Roxas just smirked and walked out of the room, rubbing Avery's head of the way out. As he was about to head out of the room, the phone in his pocket beeped. His eye grew wide as he glanced at the screen.
"Avery, put something,... presentable on." Roxas said, rushing to his bedroom.
"What?! Why?" she asked, confused at the sudden outburst.
"The Pack." and that was all he needed to say, and he knew Avery would understand.
It was common for most Wilds to make a certain group of their own. There were Packs, Flocks, Herds, Mixers, and even Rogues. Roxas was From the SilverMoon pack, name after their Alpha, Alexander SilverMoon. It was the greatest, most powerful, most dominating, and most respected pack one could ever hope to find in the entire Academy. But most of all, NO ONE messes with SilverMoon. Now, every pack needs an Alpha, but every Alpha and his pack needs a Beta. So, guess who's Beta? ;)
