You drove around for a while. You couldn't sleep because you had too much on your mind, you were thinking about how you were going to pay your next rent since the place you work at is running out of business. You sighed running a hand through your hair pulling into a small cafe.

You got out of your car. Going in, bringing out the small amount of change you had, and buying a cup of coffee. You had nothing at home and couldn't sleep so you might as well stay up. You pulled your jumper sleeves closer over your hands as you grabbed a sugar mixer with the small pot of milk you had.

"Thank you." You said to the woman who had brought the drink over to you. She looked down at you giving you a sympathetic smile. You smiled but when she turned around to walk back behind the counter you pulled a face. Yes, she was only trying to be nice but you wasn't in the mood for any sympathy.

You looked up at the door as the bell rung and you saw a good looking guy around the same age as you if not a little older and then looked back down at your paper work for the money that you had saved for the rent. You ran a hand through your hair once again, hating the stress. You held the coffee closer to you and shut the paper work up into the book you'd brought with you.

You looked up as someone stood next to you. "Mind if I sit here?" You saw the person that had just walked in and nodded motioning to the seat in front of you. "Go ahead." You smiled but he noticed it didn't reach your eyes.

He furrowed his eyebrows and introduced himself. "I'm Jason by the way." You nodded and replied with, "Nice to meet you, I'm Y/N." You didn't take much notice of him as you stirred your coffee with the small wooden stick you had.

"Rough day?" You sighed chuckling slightly. "You have no idea." He chuckled and smiled slightly. "Been there. Don't worry, it will get better."

"Not with a rent to pay, but you can't pay it because your job is running out of business and your pays dropping." You sighed rubbing your hands over your face. "Ahh so that's why your so upset." He sat back in his chair. You nodded. "What brings you here?" You asked him.

"Just clearing my head of a few things." He smiled, this guy smiles a lot but it's quite contagious. "Listen, I know we've just met but there's always a place at mine. Call me, if you need to, I'm sure you'd be no trouble." And with one more smile he left a card with his name and number on it and left.

You sighed, playing with it before tucking it in our jeans pocket. You were going to leave it in the car. He doesn't seem a bad guy.

~5 Days later.

You was in your car with all your stuff. No house. No job. No family. Could it get any worse? You sighed, something your doing a lot recently, and grabbed the card that you had in the car door and rang the number.

"Hello?"

"Jason? It's me Y/N. Have I called at a bad time? I'm so sorry, I'll-"

"No. No. It's fine, what's up?"

"Oh good. Um, you know your place? Do you have a sofa free? Just while I get back on my feet and I swear I'll be out," You sighed thinking over what you just said. "Oh who am I kidding this sounds really desperate. I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have called."

"I have a bed? If that makes it any better?" He paused chuckling down the phone, "If you want it of course." You hesitated before replying. "Are you sure? It's totally fine if not, I can sort something out?"

"Hey, Y/N it's fine. "Don't worry about it. I'll text you my address." You sighed in relief. "Thank you so much! I'll be over soon." You said your goodbyes and he sent you the address. You put it in your maps on your phone and started following the route towards it. You were soaked as you had to bring all your stuff out into your car in the rain and very uncomfortable.

When you pulled up to the house, you gasped as you saw how big it was. You got out of your car, grabbing a bag of your stuff and locked the car as you walked up to the door, ringing the bell. The door opened quickly and it revealed a girl in her middle teens in her pajamas since it was around 11 at night.

"Hey, does Jason live here?"She sighed and nodded telling me to come in. "Jason!" She shouted but he was already jogging down the stairs. "Hey." I said smiling but probably looking so unattractive in my jogging bottoms, vest top and Jordan's with my hair thrown up in a messy bun.

"Sorry to turn up like this. Like I said, I could go if its a bad time or-" His chuckles stopped you from rambling on and made you blush. "It's fine. Oh and Y/N I want you to meet my sister, Lola." She smiled at you, you returning it. "Sorry, I thought you was here for another reason. I didn't know you was the girl." You furrowed your eyebrows.

"He told me about the cafe." You realized now and made a knowing face and smiled again. "Oh, well I'm Y/N as I think you'd know." She laughed nodding which made me giggle along with her. "Okay i'll show you to your room and get you some towels, you must be freezing."You walked up the stairs behind Jason and followed him to a big, smart looking room. You gasped walking in, looking around.

"You like it?" You nodded quickly at his question. "It's beautiful." You replied. "Oh and by the way I'm sorry about this. I'll promise i'll be gone in at least a month. I feel so bad for intruding like this but its just so I can get back on my feet and i'll even pay you back for everything once I get a new job for taking me in like this." He shook his head.

"I wouldn't want anything from you. Think of it as a favor for a friend." You smiled and walked over to him, giving him a hug. "Thank you so much, Jason." You said and kissed his cheek when you pulled back. He bit his lip as you both parted and nodded walking back to the door. "Get warmed up. I'll order us some pizzas, any special?" You shrugged. "*Insert favorite pizza here* Only if you both like it too." He smiled and nodded. "Our favorite." Then he walked out closing the door behind him.

Your so glad you went to the cafe that night and met him.
