I was so scared. I put the money into the black bag so fast it wasn't even funny my life was in danger and so was others this is what I get for writing a bank great job Brooke!! " HURRY UP NOW" the mystery man says to me while he points his gun at my head. I guess I got kind of slow because I felt something go straight to my head and I blacked out.
Candyce P.O.V
I got an call from Ethan he said Brooke was in the hospital which scared the shit of me! I drove to the hospital as fast I could I'm surprised I didn't get pulled over by the police.
Ethan P.O.V
I was talking to Bridget on the phone (btw his girlfriend) and I got an call from an unknown number I answered of course and put Bridget on hold.....
"Is Brooke your sister? Brook- " I cut them off " yes she is what happened?" I say nervously something always happens. " Her job got robbed and she got shot and she was admitted to Piedmont Hospital" This is why you don't work at a bank!!! " OKAY IM ON MY WAY NOW!" I hung up and called Candyce.
😔 At the hospital 😞
I walked up to the counter and asked for Brooke. " Sir she's in an serious surgery right now" the lady says. I sigh and nod and go to sit down. About 20 minutes later Candyce walks through. " Where the hell is she?" She says pacing back and forth across the room. " She's in an serious surgery right now" I say without any emotion. Soon after Candyce came and sat next to me. And we waited and waited.
2 hours later......
Brooke P.O.V
I woke up with an light in my face the fuck is this?? My head was hurting so bad I've never been in more pain. I run my eyes and I try to get up but its hurts to much. A nurse comes in and says " You have visitors!!" And she lets Ethan and Candyce in.... " What happened?" They say in unison. " I was at my job and.... I don't really remember.." I say kind of confused.. Hmm that's strange I can't seem to remember oh well I'll be fine. A doctor comes in " Well Ms.Brooke has 20% of amnesia and the bullet went kind of deep in your brain but on the other hand your good you just have to stay one more night for some tests." The doctor says. And walks out of the room.
Candyce P.O.V
Amnesia that's sounds horrible. I started crying... Ethan pulled me into a bear hug and whispered in my ear " She's gonna be okay" he says softly. I don't like him and I don't think so?? Anyways were just friends nothing more...
Ethan P.O.V
I really like Candyce... I don't have the courage to ask her out I bet she doesn't even like me like that what am I thinking?? I just need to focus on my little sister right now and plus I'm with Bridget.
Brooke P.O.V
I started getting very sleepy. And soon enough I fell into a peaceful sleep.

I was laying in bed while my mom would sing to me like always every night. " mom will you promise to stay with me forever?" I say almost in an whisper " Yes I promise" my mom says and then kisses my forehead she continues singing to me. And I fell asleep.
