Chapter: 10 The Baby Shower

So today is the baby shower.... I guess I should've of mentioned we found out we were having an baby girl.....  We both were totally excited!!! So we rented out a restaurant for this. The shower Is in a week. Woohoo!!

Brooke P.O.V
I woke up. And did my hygiene. I walk down the stairs and found a note it read. " Dear Brooke I went out with Bridget  I will be back in a 1 hour get ready were going shopping for baby clothes.....  Love you not your brother

Sounds like him... Since I already showered I went ahead and put my clothes on I wore leggings with a crop top and my vans also putting my hair in an ponytail...  Were just going baby shopping seriously??? Lol

1 hour later

" IM HERE" my brother screamed through the phone " okay Damn I'm not down the street" I hung up and walked outside and got into the car. We drove to Carters one of the baby stores. I could tell this was going to to take all day!!!

Bridget P.O.V
We walked out with so many bags there almost wasn't enough room for Brooke to sit. We dropped Brooke at home then Ethan took me home so he could help me with the bags. " Wow we did a lot of shopping" I say amazed he helped me up the stairs and took the bags to the baby room.... " I can't wait to get this baby out of me" I say exhausted tone of voice. " yeah I know" Ethan says with a chuckle. We spent The rest of the day watching movies and talking which was pretty fun until he had to leave for some reason.

Brooke P.O.V
I was on the phone with Candyce which you know she likes to talk... 😑😑
"So are you and Chris together or what?" She says nosey... " I really don't know he said he liked me..." I said I really don't wanna discuss this right now. " Well I have to tell you something ( uh oh lol) I like Ethan a lot but I know he's with Bridget and I don't wanna say anything about it to him" Candyce Says... Which put me in shock.... " for how long?" What? I need to know. This is what secrets are for!! Lol " for like a year I just didn't want you to know yet" she says.. I'm a little happy she likes him but he is with Bridget.... We continue talking until Ethan calls me down and I hang up with her... I have the urge to tell him
But Candyce would literally kill me so I don't cause I want her to tell him when she's comfortable plus I have enough on my plate right now. " what you want?"

Ethan P.O.V
How do I tell her that I lost my job... How can I take care of Bridget and a baby?? Is it to late?? What am I going to do... " I lost my job" I mumble lets just hope she heard me cause I'm not saying it again...  " YOU WHAT?" She said angrily " I LOST MY JOB OK??" I look at her with a serious face...

Brooke P.O.V
" HOW THE FUCK ARE YOU GONNA TAKE CARE OF BRIDGET!!?" I yell at him he can not be doing this.. This has to be an dream. I will always remember that quote my mom would tell me " and something's things fall apart so better things can fall together" I said to him every though mom isn't alive its still useful to use her words.... " how are you gonna pay Chris?" I say ....we weren't living here for free you know " I don't know Brooke I'll talk to him about it please just leave me alone" he walked to his room and slammed the door. I sat there does Bridget know yet? How is she gonna react? Questions flowing through my mind. I felt even worse cause she's carrying his baby.... This isn't right at all, I'm sad cause I can't work or I'll make more problems which we don't need right now.... I sat and cried... I heard footsteps and I covered my face with my heads...

Chris P.O.V
I Heard crying from downstairs I'm guessing Brooke and Ethan got into a fight. I walked up to her and gilded get close all I could do right now was comfort her as much as I could. " it's ok Brooke please don't cry" I say in her ear...  Soon she stops crying and we sit here and cuddle close this is my chance to ask her to be my girlfriend " Babygirl will you be my girlfriend? I know we only-" she cut me off  " yes of course I will" she kisses my lips....  I got butterflies from that...

Brooke P.O.V
WERE OFFICIAL YAY!!!!
Me and Chris sat there cuddling... I could get use too this.. I've had a boyfriend before but I really don't like to talk about him he used to abuse me a lot but I thought I could try and fix him but it never worked so I was scared to date anyone else... That's why I haven't.

1 week later ( the baby shower )

Bridget P.O.V
Finally the baby shower woohoo get my party on. I sent the invites In a month
In a advance so cut the bullshit.... I put  dress with flats and put my hair in a curly ponytail. And Ethan drove me to the restaurant. We got there and everyone clapped as I walked in I smiled wide and Ethan kissed my cheek and said I love you in my ear. Which sent chills down my spine..

Brooke P.O.V
I was walking around then I saw a familiar face which was too familiar... I was thinking to myself who could that be??? Damian it was him...
( quick flashback)

We were so in love it wasn't even funny then one day he started hitting me and slapping me with all his force... I cried and cried.... I even tried to help him but he rejected everything. Then one day my brother saw me beaten to death he wasn't very happy about that so he went over to Damian's house and beat the crap out of him I've never seen that side of him. And after that I never did. He packed my stuff and told mom and dad they thought Damian was a nice kid but they thought wrong. My mom cleaned me up and everything and we talked and she want mad at me... Which was one thing I loved about her she was caring and sweet... 😞😞😕😕
( End of Flashback)

I walked away from that area  as fast as I could. I didn't want to be anywhere near him. I knew he was crazy but let him be crazy over there honey. So I walked over to Chris and he hugged me. I smiled at him. Let's just hope my brother doesn't see him or drama will bloom.😉😉
