“And you will not leave until peace is found.” My father said as I walked out of the office to prepare for the trip.

Evan’s POV

Sighing, I walked back onto campus. Ian was out of control. He probably is going to be mad at me for taking him away from his mate when he wakes up. Ian was one of my closest friends.

“Evan, what the crap was that?” Sarah said pushing through the crowd as I walked up. The concert was over.

“Ian found his mate, and he couldn’t control himself.” I looked at her in her beautiful Sapphire dress. She may hate it but she looked beautiful.

“Really, who was it?” She looked around.

“I don’t know but you look breath-taking.” I said pulling her hand to press a kiss to it.

“Evan, no, we talked about this.” Sarah pushed me giving me a little shock probably the voltage of 5 tazors. She was a witch with very strong powers.

“Alright, fine,” I hissed at her from the shock.

“Who is she?” She asked again.

“I don’t know exactly, but I have an idea. Can you use his hair or fur to find out?” I asked pulling a strand off my clothes.

“Yeah, but I need to get out of the ear and eye shot of the crowd.” Sarah started to walk away from the building and around the corner.

I just watched as she went checking her out. Nice.

“Stop staring at my butt,” She turned the corner out off site.

Sighing, I watched the crowd. The many family and friends of the girls in the dresses were scattered about the little courtyard. People started to leave. Come on, Sarah.

“Alright, the girl’s scent has been heightened to the extreme of even human can tell they smell. I am sorry I couldn’t get something visible because they haven’t even started the bond or seen each other.” Sarah walked up to me looking around.

“Why couldn’t you do that before he knew his mate?” I asked smelling the air for the potent scent.

“Well, werewolf’s scent changes in a small amount when they find their mate. Only really skilled and scent sensitive creatures can tell. But, the reason I couldn’t before is that his body hadn’t had that slit chemical change so my magic had nothing to go off because many werewolves don’t have true mates.” Sarah explained as I started to walk through the crowd to the building hoping I would be more successful.

I continued through the building but nothing stood out. I sniffed the air nothing was out of place. Many people had already left. Crap!

“She isn’t here. I can’t find any scent out of place.” I sighed shaking my head. She must have left.

“U sure?” Sarah asked looking around.

“Yeah, she is gone.” I said now walking outside.

“Well, the spell will last for 48 hours so we will find her. If we don’t find her then, I am sure Ian will.”Sarah started to walk to her car.

“Yeah, alright, you want to go pick up something to eat out because I honestly wouldn’t mind some human food. And I don’t like the nasty witch type food in your room.” I followed her.

“It isn’t that bad,” Sarah pouted. But I mean, fried spiders or beetles. Cat casserole. Any pest was eaten.

“Yeah, maybe because I am not human.” I laughed.

“Whatever, fine,” She rolled her eyes as we got into her car since I ran here.

“I wish Ian could be here. What happened after you took him out of the concert?” She said starting her car.

“I lead him away, but in the end I had to knock him out because he would have showed up in wolf form to the concert. And I know your magic and my power couldn’t cover something like that up.” I looked out the window as we passed eating places.

Unknown POV:

“Will this be all?” the cashier asked as I put my many random food items that I decide near the register.

“Yep,” I sighed. I have been eating so much junk. The life of a college student.

The cashier took my card and bagged my items. Thank goodness, I had only one bag.

“Thank you,” I said leaving the store.

“Ouch,” I said running across the pavement without shoes because my heels hurt my feet worse.

Walking across the street, I walked to my dormitory. But guess what??? I left my key and gate key in my room since I couldn’t find it. So I was going to get my roommate to let me in but guess what? My phone was dead because I was reading to many stories on my phone. Yes, I like to read on my phone. Anyways, I was stuck without a valid entrance so I was trying to find an open gate. Yay!!

So here I was running around my dormitory in a formal gown without shoes with a bag full of frozen food and junk food. Since I couldn’t find a gate open, I started walking towards my roommates window since we are on the first floor. The only problem was that it was on the backside of the dormitory where there was no lights. It was kind of sketchy.

“Oh well, I got to get in.” I sighed.

Famous last words as I took a step into the shadows.
