The car ride was very nice as I sat comfortably in Zander's lap. I had no idea where we were going for dinner but I was excited. Especially knowing Zander was willing to give us a chance. Once we reached our destination, the limo driver came out and opened the door for us. I nudged Zander, hoping he'd get the hint to stop scowling at the driver. Zander glared at me and I glared back causing him to sigh.

"Thanks." He grumbled out causing the driver to smile back widely. I smiled after seeing the driver smiling. It made me very happy to see others happy.

I smiled at Zander too, to show him that I appreciated that he listened to me. Zander scowled at me to show me he was annoyed but then he grabbed my hand in his which meant he couldn't have been that annoyed.

I then looked in front of me and gasped at the huge restaurant in front of us. We were at The Weres Delight, which was said to be the best and most expensive fancy restaurant in the whole country. They were said to serve the most delicious meals with a great variety from all over the world. I had always wanted to go here but it was so expensive that my parents and I could never afford it. Especially since we were humans and for humans it was way more than expensive.

"What do you think? If you don't like it here, we can go somewhere else." Zander said looking down at me. Was he serious? This place was perfect. Why wouldn't I like it here? You couldn't get into this restaurant without reservations and the reservations cost a lot too. They cost even more to cancel.

"I love it Zander! I've always wanted to go to this restaurant. It's amazing! I'm actually so excited!" I exclaimed and he grinned at my enthusiasm.

"That's great." He said, giving my hand a small squeeze.

We walked inside and it just felt so great having Zander hold my hand. It was a small gesture but meant so much to me. And I'm sure the smile on my face showed it too.

The waitress smiled when she saw Zander. She didn't even look at the reservation book to see what table we were supposed to be sat at. But then again, Zander was the future King and Alpha so I guess they had to give him the best services.

As she led us to our table, I looked around and admired the beautiful decor, listened to the soft music playing, and looked to the front where couples were dancing. Every time we neared an empty table, I thought we were going to sit there but we never did. I wondered where we were sitting.

The waitress seemed to lead us to a room at the back. Once I walked inside I gasped at how beautiful it was. The table was set beautifully with a beautiful embroidered table cloth and a vase holding pretty, sweet smelling flowers. Soft music played in the background with dim lighting. Candles were lit up around the room as well. There was also a glass door that led out to a terrace. Everything was simply gorgeous.

The waitress told us she'd be back to ask us our order. Once she left, Zander and I took a seat. "So what do you think?" Zander asked me with a small happy smile on his face.

I grinned at him, reaching across the table to take his hand in mine. "I love it Zander. I absolutely love it. Thank you."

Soon the waitress arrived and asked us what we wanted. After we ordered, she left and Zander turned to look at me again. "So how was it when we first found out we were mates?" He asked curiously.

"It was very surprising for me but amazing. I had fallen for you long before we found out we were mates so it was the best feeling ever, knowing I could actually have you." I said, a smile stretching across my face at the memory.

"You had fallen for me before? From what I've heard from everyone is that I hurt you, a lot and made your life absolutely miserable. How could you have fallen for me?" He asked frowning.
