"Mommy, daddy, look there's a bird!" Five year old Alina Garnet said, pointing to a robin perching on top of a tree branch.
"Nobody cares." Her older brother Josh retorted, annoyed because Alina wouldn't stop talking. She talked so much and said the most dumbest of things. He knew she was young and that children were curious little creatures, but it got really annoying.
"Josh, be nice to your sister." Alina's mom said, frowning disappointedly at Josh before turning to Alina with a smile on her face. "The bird is very nice, Alina."
"It's a Robin." Alina's dad said picking her up in his arms.
"It's very pret-" Alina started saying but got cut off by a loud, growling sound coming from behind the family.
They all turned around to find a giant black werewolf growling at them. Alina cried out in fear while her dad assured her that the wolf wasn't going to hurt them.
Her dad was completely wrong because the wolf attacked Alina's mom instantly, causing Alina to scream loudly. The wolf started tearing her completely apart causing Josh and Alina to cry out for their mom.
"Run!" Her dad yelled and they sprinted off as Alina started sobbing.
"We have to go back and get Mommy!" She cried out. She wanted her mommy. She wanted to know her mommy was safe.
"We can't!" Her dad yelled as he frantically ran with Josh beside him. Soon they heard the wolf running after them. Alina looked back and screamed as she saw the wolf coming after them with blood dripping out of it's mouth. Her mommy's blood.
"Dad, it's coming fast!" Josh yelled, as he looked back at the wolf.
"Here, take Alina and run!" Their dad yelled, quickly handing Alina over to Josh.
Josh did what his dad said without questioning and grabbed Alina before running with her in his arms.Alina turned to see her dad taking out a hunting knife that the wolf knocked away before he could do anything with it. She hid her face in Josh's neck not wanting to see the werewolf kill her dad. She wasn't dumb. She knew that they weren't going to survive. How could they? Werewolves were strong. They were very strong compared to humans. They didn't have enough strength to fight the wolf. They were going to die.
She heard her dad scream and she held onto Josh tighter, as she trembled in fear. She could hear the wolf ripping her dad apart just like it did with her mom and she couldn't help but feel horrified. Her mom and dad were both gone. It was just Josh and her left.
"Run faster Josh!" Alina managed to squeak out as she saw the werewolf catching up to them.
"I'm trying." Josh said as he breathed heavily, out of breath. Alina screamed as she saw the wolf coming closer and closer. "Josh faster!" She screamed.
They reached a pond and Josh threw Alina in. He knew he was going to die but he wanted to at least try to save his baby sister. He knew a werewolf couldn't sense anyone in water.
"I love you Alina!" He yelled before the werewolf attacked him as well, killing him off.
