Harry felt quite uneasy after talking to Mona about Gold. He had this sinking feeling that eventually he will lose Gold. He wanted to tell Gold that he loved her more than anything in the world. But he wasn't ready to face the consequences that would follow afterwards.

'What if Gold asks me if I love her or not? Will I be able to tell her the truth or lie to her?' Harry wondered.

'I don't know what to tell her. What will I say to her?' Harry started to panic.

'I couldn't possibly tell Gold that I love her. She'll freak out and then she'll never talk to me again,' he felt nauseated.

Harry ran his fingers through his dark hair out of frustration.

'I won't tell her anything. If she asks me about it, I'll just change the topic,' Harry decided.

After sleeping for about an hour, Gold woke up. It was six in the evening. She picked up her cell phone and saw that she had many missed calls. Five were from Mona and two were from Harry. She decided to call Mona first.

'Hello. You had called me?' Gold spoke up as soon as Mona picked up her call.

'Where were you? And why didn't you pick up my calls? I was so worried about you!' Mona scolded Gold.

'Hey, hey, hey! Calm down girl! I was sleeping and my phone was on silent mode. That's why I didn't pick up your calls,' Gold explained.

'Oh, okay,' Mona muttered.

'So, are you still cross with me?' Mona asked sheepishly.

'Well, that depends on whether you're gonna leave that topic or not,' Gold answered after a long pause.

'Oh, alright then, I'll drop it,' Mona said reluctantly.

'Very good. That's like my Mona Darling!' Gold mentally patted Mona's back.

'We're cool now. Right?' Mona asked.

'Yep. We're totally cool. Don't you worry, child!' Gold assured her.

'See you around then,' Mona said as she didn't know what else to say to Gold.

'Okay. See you later,' Gold said and ended the call.

Next thing, Gold dialed Harry's number. He answered her call instantly.

'Hello, Harry,' Gold chimed in.

'Hey, Gold. Why weren't you answering my calls?' Harry inquired.

'Oh, I was asleep. I just woke up,' Gold said as she twirled a loose strand of her hair around her fingers.

"What are you doing in the evening?" Gold asked Harry casually.

'Um, nothing in particular. You say,' Harry said absent-mindedly.

'Let's meet for dinner tonight then,' Gold suggested. She wanted to know if what Mona had said to her in the afternoon was true or not.

'Alright. Where do you want to go?' Harry was surprised to Gold's sudden plan to have dinner. He suspected that there was a different reason other than dinner for which Gold was meeting him.

'The Royal Orchid will be fine I guess,' Gold said. The Royal Orchid was one of the premium diners in Southampton.

'Yup. Sounds good. See you then,' Harry agreed.

'Okay. See you later,' Gold said.

Harry wondered what Gold was up to. Harry opened his wardrobe and stared at his clothes. He couldn't decide what to wear. He bit his lip and searched through the clothes. Finally, he settled on a light grey shirt and black trousers. He changed his clothes hurriedly, grabbed his wallet and keys and strode out of his room.
