Sequel Book Update

Kind greetings, everyone! I really hope this year has been treating you all well so far! Personally, I've had my ups and downs, but nothing has really stopped me from writing regularly. I said I'd take a break to relax and give my hands a rest, but honestly—I'm a writer, so that's easier said than done!

On the bright side, I've been making good headway on the sequel, *Afterlight*. I probably won't be completely finished by the time I start uploading chapters here, but I'm working hard to get it ready so you can continue following Elaine's adventure. You might notice this story is a bit darker than the first, which was definitely intentional. The main theme is all about sacrifice, and as Elaine dives deeper into the magical world, she'll have to face some harsh truths that challenge everything she thought she knew about being a sorcerer.

Get ready for some intense moments—there will be death, betrayal, and heartbreak! But don't worry, I promise I won't make it painful to read. I'm not trying to traumatize anyone, after all! This book is going to be a big step forward for both the characters and me as a writer. I want to continue improving and provide you with the best stories possible, as you have all been so loyal to the first book.

As for when *Afterlight* will drop, I'm aiming to release the Prologue and a couple of chapters before the year ends. Life can be pretty unpredictable, though, so I'm not sure what will happen in the next few months. I'll do my best to stick to this timeline, and I plan to share a sneak peek in about a month or two, just to give you a taste of what's to come in the sequel. So keep an eye out for that!
