I gave a kind smile to the group of women who walked in before returning to pouring drinks. I slid the tall glass down the bar to the man, who gave a laugh.
"Showin' off, Leon?" The man called, a roar of laughter erupting from his companions.
"Anything for you, Jack!" I teased back, earning myself a roar of laughter as well. I turned back and used a rag to clean a vacant spot on the bar, wiping away any smudges. Another man walked in and sat at the counter, pulling out his phone.
"What's your poison?" I chuckled as he looked up. I pushed my glasses up my nose as he thought it over.
   "Seven and 7."
"Nice choice." I started to mix the drink as I surveyed the people around me.
Jack and his crew were everyday customers, sometimes bringing friends from work or even girlfriends, if they were lucky. The girls came every Saturday, since they were off from work the next day as well. Jack and his three friends, Robert, Keshawn, and Brandon, all had no problems with the women, considering they had extremely admirable looks, unlike I teased them for. Only Jack never brought any lady friends, despite the fact that from my perspective, he was the cutest in the group. The girls, Angela, Trish, and Melanie, all worked down the street at a clothing boutique, saving up to all go to college at the university.
The man on his phone finished his drink, pushing it towards me. He stood up, placing a wad of crumpled bills on the counter before slithering up the stairs and onto the streets.
I cleaned up his mess and started to unroll the money, grumbling about how annoying it was until a small white paper poked out from the wad. I gave it a wide eyed curious look as I put the money away, reading it over.

I gave it another look over before shoving it in my pocket, turning back to my customers.
