Some 'Oomph'

"Ugh..." I groaned, pushing the duvet over my slim frame as I woke up for the fifth time. Knowing I only had a month until I saw Shizuo, my dearest Shizuo, and Mioku, made me want to scream and laugh and cry all at once. One could only imagine what the rest of the month would be like...
Turning onto my side, I squinted at the clock's digital red numbers, which read '2:15 am.' I had about three hours before I would need to get ready for work... invaluable information as of the moment, what I needed was sleep.
Once more rolling over, onto my stomach, I wrapped my slender arms tightly around my pillow and nuzzled my nose into it, taking a deep breath of the cologne that had rubbed on it.
It was the same brand Shizuo uses. Or that he used... or that he used to own and would still if I had not taken it when I ran off... Which ever the answer, it was still a delicacy to the olfactory-based senses.
I hadn't even realized it, yet deep in such thought, I began to drift off into sleep with little hint. Before I knew it, I was practically drooling at thoughts and the dream that overcame me.

"Izaya! Iza, Iza, Iza! Izzy!" Someone cooed quietly. I gave a grumble and pushed the hands away.
"Shut it Shizu-Chan, I'll get up at nine... it's only eight..." It was quiet for a moment, but it didn't last long. Something didn't feel right, though...
"Come on Izaya-Kun, get up you lazy oaf!" I dozed off once more. "Your house is on fire!" She suddenly sceamed, making me jump up so high I almost hit my head on the ceiling. It took me a moment to register no smoke or flames, neither the smell, putting my racing heart to rest after the marathon it just ran.
Now I knew what was wrong, though.
Angela kneeled beside the wrinkled and tossed duvet, giving a smirkish smile as she giggled.
"Is this Shizuo your partner?" She teased, smile growing as my eyes darted around the room for photos- and signs of breaking and entering.
"What makes you think I'm into yao- that I'm gay?" I stuttered, finally resting my gaze on her. She pressed a finger to her bottom lip and pushed it up, as if jokingly giving it thought.
"Well... maybe it's just because of the two, may I mention you and the blonde are simply adorable together, photos you have in the hallway, or maybe because when you hired me and my friends, you said 'partner,' rather than girlfriend or wifey." She held a hand over her mouth as she gave a giggle. "You also sound gay, sorry. It is still really, really, adorable though, you and that Shizuo."
"Um... thank, I guess?" Despite the complex situation, I felt a bit relieved that she wasn't going to scold me or rat me out for what I am...Americans do not always accept 'different' in their lives.
"I bet you're wondering how I got in, right?" She now fully smirked, twirling a cheap lock pick. I gave a chuckle, shaking my head.
"Lockpick? I bet you couldn't do it with simply a knife."
"And you can?" She asked, more so half challenged.
"Of course I can, why else would I have made such a proposal?" She gave a tweetish response, as if slightly agreeing.
"Well then... I should have known that, since you are the informant to go to." She stared directlyat me, face rigid with an emotion that should have been there; but was not.
I was suprised at the suggested knowledge, doubting she could have gotten it so easily... but who knew with technology.
"I want information, Izaya. You won't have to pay me for working... it will be fair, won't it?" Angela's eyes were bright with hope, staring willingly into my own russet orbs. I scratched the back of my neck and looked at my pants... which were not there, before quickly yanking the sheet up to my collarbone. After wrapping the sheet aroud me like a robe, I stood, walking to the bathroom.
"It depends on what information you want," I shut the door and started to dress before continuing. "It will also be harder to get it, since I avoided making informational connections here. That may double the price." There was a moment of silence before I opened the door, revealing a determined Angela with her hands clenched in fists. She bit her lip before giving a bright smile,
"Alright, I'm willing to pay the price." I smirked at this, opening my bedroom door and giving a gentlemanly gesture.
"Well then, shall we begin?"
