The noise of someone walking around my room awoke me from my peaceful, mid-night sleep. My eyes fluttered open, and a hand clamped over my mouth. My scream was muffled, and I sat up quickly, the hand following my mouth. My eyes trailed up the arm that was attached to the hand, but it was too dark in my room to make out the figure.
It wasn't a girl. I knew that by the shape. My window was open, which scared the crap out of me because I was sure it was closed before I went to bed. The moonlight was shinning in, and it was a gorgeous night, but I quickly pushed that thought away when I felt someone's breath in my face.
"Hallie, don't scream. It's just me. I'm going to let go of your mouth now, you have to be quiet."
I nodded slowly, and the hand was removed from my mouth.
"Mason, what the hell are you doing here!?"
The hand covered my mouth again, and Mason's laugh quietly echoed through the room, "Wanna shut up, now?"
The hand was slowly removed from my mouth, and Mason sat next to me on my bed, "Hi."
"Hey Mace. What are you doing here?"
"Your window was unlocked, so I just--"
"My room's on the second floor. Unless you were trying to get in, you wouldn't know if it's unlocked. Nice try though, talk."
"I missed you last night."
"Why?"
"We were supposed to go out, remember? You told me you'd come to that party with me at Mike's house, but with your mom and everything, I just figured you couldn't go."
"Oh, right. I forgot. My mom's mad at me."
"I just wanted to do something," Mason smiled, leaning in, and his lips met mine.
"Was that it? You came all that way to kiss my goodnight?"
"Not exactly," He groaned, pushing me on my back and climbing over me. His kisses trailed down my neck, "I love you."
"Mason," I let out a small moan, "My mom's down the hall."
"She won't know, Hallie. Relax," He laughed, kissing my lips again.
"But what if she does?"
"It's not like we're f*cking," He laughed a bit too loudly.
My eyes widened at the realization that crossed my mind.
"Mason, I don't like you talking like that."
"Relax, Babe."
"Are you drunk?"
"Just a little," He laughed.
"Mason!"
"What?"
"I think you should just go home, and I'll talk to you tomorrow."
"I don't think that's a good idea. I'm not completely drunk, but I'm drunk enough that I shouldn't really drive."
"Why'd you even come here, then?"
"Mike's house is down the street. I walked. But, I can go if you want--"
"Here's the deal. You can sleep here, but you have to stay quiet, and you can't try anything with me. You can drive home in the morning. But, you have to be gone before my mom wakes up."
"Deal,"
And that's only where the night began.
Hey guys! Okay, so I know this is short, but I just wanted to upload SOMETHING before I left for vacation!<3
