A/N-- So this is a longer chapter than usual. I hope you all like it.
So, number one : this is a sad chapter,
number two: if you're uncomfortable with sex discussions, this isn't the chapter for you. When it switches to Mason's point of view about half way through the chapter, that's where you should stop reading if you're not interested in the sex talk. It's not graphic, it's just questions that Hallie's cousin asks him. If you don't like this, don't read it. I hope you guys don't scream at me, as there are also a few swear words. I hope you like it, you all still vote & comment, and you all still support me.
Xoxo,
& YAY THIS IS LONG!!!<3 (ish.)
The rest of that night -- or technically morning -- was uneventful. I drove home, Mason following in his car behind me to make sure I was safe. When I got inside, my mom seemed more worried then angry, but I hugged her, kissed her cheek, and promised to never do it again. I was sorry, I told her, and I just needed to be alone, but I love her. It'll never happen again.
And I went to bed, texting Mason goodnight first, of course.
The next morning was boring, too. I slept late, until the phone awoke me.
I could hear my mom's voice, soft, half asleep, yet full of fear. And she was crying. I could hear her sniffles, and I jumped up, suddenly fully awake. "Mom?"

"Mason, I need you to come over here, right now." I cried into the phone.
"Hallie, are you okay?"
"Please, I need you."
"I'm on my way, baby. I'm already in my car, talk to me, baby."
"I just need you."
"I know, Hal, I'm coming. Are you hurt?"
"No,"
"What's the matter? Is your mom hurt?"
"Mason, please just come over. I'll talk to you then," I cried, wiping my eyes, "I need to call a few people."

The doorbell rang within ten minutes, and when I opened it, Mason rushed inside. I was on the phone, talking to my aunt who lived out of state, and Mason pulled me into his arms, kissing my forehead.
"Yeah, the funeral will be on Tuesday. I'm glad it's summer, I can help my mom with everything." I paused, waiting for her to talk, "Yeah, it's going to be here. My boyfriend just got here, he's going to help out, I'll see you soon. Bye."
I clicked the phone off, and I cuddled up into Mason's arms. "Funeral?" He asked gently.
"My grandma just died earlier."
"Can I help with something?"
"Oh, no, you don't have to. I just want you to hold me."
"I have you," He whispered, soothing me and rubbing up and down my back, "I have you."
"Mase, I know it's a lot to ask, but--"
"I'll do whatever you tell me to, baby." He whispered, and I smiled up at him, wiping my eyes, "That'a girl. There's that beautiful smile."
"Thank you, Mason. Come on," I whispered, leading him into the kitchen. It was Sunday, and we had a lot to do to get ready.

It was Monday night, and my aunt and little cousins were flying into town. "Mase, I have to help my mom set up for dinner and everything, do you think you could pick my aunt up from the airport?"
