Star's POV
"We don't have to be ordinary, make your best mistakes. We don't have the time to be sorry, so baby be the life of the party."
I woke up to my phone playing Life of the Party by Shawn Mendes. It was my ringtone. I looked to see that it was Luke. I cleared my throat before answering.
"Hey Lukey." I said groggily.
"Hi Star, why do you sound so tired?"
"Because I just woke up."
"It's 1:30 in the afternoon, why have you been sleeping for so long?"
"It's 1:30?"
"Yes Star."
"Oh."
"Well anyway, the guys and I are gonna go get ice cream soon. Do you wanna come?"
"Not really. I have a really bad headache. That's why I've been sleeping for so long."
"Awh, I'm sorry. How about I have Ashton come pick you up and take you to his house while Michael, Calum and I get some ice cream. We'll take some to Ashton's for you, and then we can all have a movie day."
"That would be nice. Pick up some ibuprofen and chocolate too please. Oh and a can of whipped cream."
"Oh now I know why you have a headache! We'll pick up some... Girly items too."
"But I'm not on my period."
"Okay.. Sure."
"Think what you want, I'll see you later Lukey." With that I ended the call and changed into some sweatpants and an old T-Shirt.
I really wanted Bethany to come too, but shes currently visiting some of her family in America for a while. She'll be back in a week, though. It's getting really close to summer vacation. We all get out of school on December 2nd. When we go back to school, it will be Ashton's last year before he graduates. Michael will be in year 12, and the rest of us will be in year 11.

"Hey Ashy." I said as I greeted him at the front door.
"Hey Star. I hear it's that time of the month." He said.
"Did Luke tell you that?" I asked him.
"Yeah."
"Well don't listen to him, he's just assuming things." I told Ashton. I could tell that he believed me. He was like my older brother, and I trusted him with my life.
"Okay." Ashton agreed.
Lately, I had been gaining stronger feelings for Luke. And therefore, I've been acting strange, even though I try to act like everything's normal. But I think that Ashton could sense that there was something up. The rest of the boys on the other hand, are completely oblivious. Thank god.
I'm just hoping that Ash doesn't ask about it on the way to his house. We got in his car and started driving.
It was silent at first, until I turned on the radio. Stitches by Shawn Mendes came on, and I immediately started freaking out. He was one of my idols, and to hear one of his songs finally being played on the radio made me so happy. I got teary-eyed at first, but then I just started singing along with Ashton.
"So why were you about to cry?" Ashton asked. "I thought your headache was getting better because of the ibuprofen you took."
"It is getting a little better. I was just about to cry because they finally played a Shawn Mendes song on the radio. I've been waiting for that to happen for so long!" I replied.
