After Chasity dropped me off I laid down on the couch to watch t.v. I felt lightheaded and just wanted to take a nap but my stomach wouldn't settle so I had to lay there miserable. The t.v. was giving me a headache so I just turned that off too and laid in the dark. I heard the front door open and then the light turn on.
"Ah my eyes! Turn it off. Just let me be." I moaned rolling over and buried my face into the couch.
"You're such a baby. I mean come on its just a cold. I want you to go take a shower and I will lay the medicine on the counter. Go get your clothes while I run the water." Chasity said walking over to pull me up. Of course she only used one hand because she had skittles in the other. I shook my head at her. She is always eating those darn skittles.
"Don't give me that face." She said waving her bag of skittles at me.
"What face?" I asked rubbing my head.
"The one that's like 'I'm Cameron and I'm judging you and your skittles'."
"I didn't know I had that face.. I thought this was my normal face.. or more of an in pain face."
"Well now you know about your face."
"What does this so called face look like?" I asked rolling my eyes.
"Well.. like this." She said making a face. I started laughing and turned to walk up to my room so I could grab my pajamas. "See! Now your laughing at me and my skittles!" She yelled up the stairs. "I don't know why I put up with her. I'll just make her bath water cold." She grumbled to herself.
"I can still hear you! So now I am judging you about your evilness." I laughed then groaned cause it made me more nauseous. I grabbed a pair of black yoga pants, new underwear, and a white tank top. After I grabbed all my clothes I walked into the bathroom. Chasity followed in behind me. She is like my mother right now. Good grief.
"So, I put the stuff I got to help you feel better at the store by the sink. I have chicken noodle soup and Pepsi down stairs for you." She smiled and started to walk out.
"Thanks.. mom." I snickered. She turned around and glared then smiled. She closed the door without saying anything to me. Hmph. I wanted her to say something back. I got into the shower and washed my body and hair then shaved. I climbed out, dried off, and put my clothes on. After I brushed my hair and teeth I looked into the grocery bag. She bought some cold medicine, cough drops, tampons, and a pregnancy test. Of course I need all of that. Wait what?! "Chasity! Get your ass up here!"
I heard her running up the stairs and then the door opened. "What?!"
"What is this? Do you need to tell me something?"
"The question is do YOU need to tell ME something?" She smirked leaning against the door. I looked at her confused. "What have you not had in these couple of days?"
"It's from stress."
"Are you sure Cam?" She asked softly. I shook my head and say down on the edge of the tub. I held the test and looked at Chasity.
"Okay.. Just let me take it. But you just turn around and don't look at me. I want you here." I told her standing up. She nodded her head and turned around. I used the restroom and did what the instructions said. "Okay I'm done. We have to wait five minutes." I washed my hand and walked down to the kitchen. Chasity followed me and we sat at the kitchen table. "You go look when it's time." I told her drinking my Pepsi. She nodded her head and looked at the time.
"Three minutes." She murmured. I gulped and pulled my phone out. I got onto Facebook and went to my news feed. Scowling through I found Nolan had posted a status 30 minutes ago. He said 'Had fun last night with Angelica.. But now it's on to the next, aha." I scowled and put my phone down. I'm so freaking stupid. I looked up to tell Chasity but she was gone. It must be time I moved back in my chair and laid my head down onto the table. I jumped when I felt someone touch my stomach. Looking up I found it was Chasity.
"Well it looks like I'm going to be an auntie!" She smiled. My eyes started to water and Chasity hugged me. "Hey. No crying! It's already happened so there is no going back. But what are you going to do?"
"Keep it."
