After Jordan left I went inside and tried to think of a way to make Nolan leave me alone. I have been laying on the couch with the lights and tv off trying to think of something. I'm just going to tell him I don't want him to help because of the way he is. Chasity should be home any minute and I still have to tell her what happened. I heard the front door open and Chasity put her keys down.
"Cameron?!" Chasity yelled. I stayed silent until she came into the living room. "What are you doing? Did Nolan say something to you again?"
"Yeah, he wants to help and be there for the baby."
"Well that's great!" Chasity said smiling and moving my feet so she could sit down. I sat up and shook my head. "It's not good? This is what you wanted Cam."
"Chas, I can't be with him.. Jordan came over once I was home and told me Brandon said that this baby is his now and that if I want to protect Nolan I have to be with him."
"Cameron, you can't just let him control you. Nolan can protect himself. You can't. Do you remember what they did to us?"
"I have no choice. Do not tell Nolan."
"Well this means I have to go back to Jordan." Chasity said sadly.
"No you don't. I'm going to make a condition that your left our of this." I told her grabbing her hand.
"Cameron I'm your bestfriend. We are in this together. Who knows what they would do to Zak." She grabbed her phone and texted someone.
"What are you doing?"
"I told Zak that I can't be with him because I went back to my ex." Chasity said standing up. "If he comes by I'm not here. I just need to lay down." She turned and walked up the stairs. This is all my fault. I grabbed my phone when it vibrated. Nolan texted saying he was coming over with Zak. Yay me. The door bell rung as I was about to text back and tell him no. I frowned and went to the door.
"Nolan, just go ho-" I froze. Brandon and Jordan stood in front of me smiling. "Wha-what are you doing here?"
"I came to see my baby and girl." Brandon said pushing past me and walking into my house. Jordan smiled and walked in after him. I groaned and shut the door.
"Where is Chasity?" Jordan asked sitting on the couch and putting his feet on the coffee table in front of him.
"She is laying down. She doesn't feel good, and please take your feet off."
"Well I'll just go visit her then." He said starting to stand up.
"No! I'll call her down." I went over to the stairs and yelled for her to come down. She came down and looked at Jordan. He smiled and patted the spot next to him.
"I need to use the restroom first." Chasity said going into the bathroom. I started to follow after her but the door bell rung again. I'm going to kill this door bell. I walked over to the door and opened it. Of course it's Nolan and Zak. I looked behind me and seen Brandon was watching tv. I stepped out of the door and shut it.
"What are you doing here?" I asked looking at them.
"I want to see Chasity." Zak replied heading toward the door.
"No. You need to leave. She doesn't want to be with you." I said stepping in front of the door. Zak frowned and sat on the porch. "Can you guys go?"
"Who's car is that Cameron?" Nolan asked pointing at Brandon's car totally ignoring me. Shit.
"My friend.." I replied. Looking away from Nolan. "But listen, I don't want to see you and don't need your help with the baby."
"It's my child too Cameron!"
"No it's not! It's my ex's. He came back the same night after you left me. I l-love him. " I blurted. Well I'm screwed. There goes telling him an easy way.
"The same guy that beat the shit out of you?" He asked in disbelief. I nodded my head and hugged myself. Zak stood up and looked at me.
"So is that who Chasity is going back to?" Zak asked. I nodded my head again afraid to speak. Zak walked back to the car.
Nolan looked at me and shook his head. "I don't want to see you again Cameron. When he beats the crap out of you again don't call me. I was actually ready to change for you and that baby. But now I know to not trust you." He turned and got into the car then drove off. I sat on the porch and started crying. Chasity came out and hugged me.
"Are you okay?"
"No." Brandon started yelling from inside the house to come inside and make them some food. We stood up and walked back into the house. I walked right past them and went into the kitchen. My heart broke a little more and I thought I didn't have feelings for Nolan. Now I know I was lying to myself and I gave away something good.
