*So, that was the last chapter. So, here is a new one.*
Last Time on 'Not Wrong':
"Hi, Ms. Garcia." I smile at her. She looks at me and smiles back. "When is the new guy coming in?"
"He should be here any moment just relax." She said. I nod and walk over to the end of her desk and I dream about how all of this will end in just 10 months. I am out of my dream when someone sneezes and startles me which makes me drop Ms. Garcia's cup of pencils. I don't even bother looking at the person.
"I'm sorry I startled you." Said a familiar voice. Almost, too familiar.
"It's okay. It wasnt your-" I stop in between my sentence to look at the person I least expected to see. "Thomas?" I asked softly. He looks up at me.
"Iris?"
*On with the chapter.*
Iris' POV
I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I am probably just dreaming right now.
"T-Thomas?" I say once again. "What are you doing here?"
"I got transferred here because I need to finish my last year of high school. When they said I was coming back here I was so excited to see you again and I see that you have grown up my bundle of joy." He pats my head at 'bundle of joy'. I blush a little.
"Well, more exciting news. I'm your tour guide for today." I say smiling. His smile grows wider as he pulls me into his world famous 'bearhug'. "Okay, Thomas. You can let go now. I can't give you the tour if I can't breath." I barely got the whole sentence out. He lets go and chuckles at me.
"Ah, yes. Your still the same 14 year old Iris I still remember." He smiles once again. Maybe my last school year won't be bad.
"Shall we go now, Mr. Sanders?" I say in a British accent.
"Why we shall, Ms. Michaels." He repeats. I giggle as he takes his arm and puts in around my shoulder as we walk outside the office. As soon as we walk past the doors everyone looks at us. Thomas notices and leans into my ear.
"Why is everyone staring at us?" He said.
"You missed alot, Thomas." I whisper back. He nods as if he gets what happened in the last 3 years. Just as I think the day wouldn't get anymore awkward, Jennifer and her posse walk across the hall towards us. Oh boy, here comes the drama.
Thomas' POV
I look in Iris' direction and I see Jennifer and her posse walk towards us. Her eyes seem to point at me more than at Iris.
"Well, well, well. If it isn't little Miss Loser and New Boy Hottie." She starts talking to me. "You shouldn't be hanging out with the wrong crowd, Hot Stuff. She is just wasting your time. Come hang with us." She said in a weird voice. I shake my head and smirk.
"You really don't remember me do you?" I asked.
"Remember who?"
"It's me. Thomas." She looks at me up and down.
"Thomas, your back? Wow, it seems like puberty hit you with a handsome looking firetruck." She flirts. I mentally roll my eyes.
"Thanks for the offer, Jennifer. But, I have one really cool person to hang with right now and we have 3 years worth of catching up to do." I put my arm around Iris and we both walk past Jennifer only to be stopped again.
"You can't be serious, Thomas. Your going with Miss Loser here instead of me?" She screeches. I nod.
"Well, Miss Loser here, is my best friend. And she is important to me. So, get lost Jennifer." I say annoyed. We walk past her. I didn't even have to look back to know that Jennifer's jaw was down. I look at Iris and she looks at me shocked.
"What did I do?" I asked.
"Nothing, I mean you just did what I didn't have the courage to do for years. Not only are you my best friend, you are my hero too." I smile at her words.
'You are my hero too.'
I chuckle. "Well, I am just that awesome Iris." She rolls her eyes and playfully hits my arm.
"Wow. You went from total hero to cocky hero real fast." She said annoyed. I smile at her.
"Sorry, if I ruined the moment." I said. She rolls her eyes once again.
Man, I missed seeing her. And her beautiful blue eyes. Wait, beautiful?
Iris' POV
With Thomas back, maybe my last year would be a lot more easier. Plus, people will probably stop treating me like garbage and I can actually be like a normal person. It is pretty much what I had been asking for the whole time. It is great to see his pretty brown eyes...
Wait, pretty? What are you doing Iris? He is your long time best friend!
Before, I know it, I catch myself looking at him and how much he has grown. He is just cute and adorable.
Oh My God! Iris! Adorable is acceptable but cute?! Get a grip on yourself!
