*Here is the 3rd chapter.*

Iris' POV

Okay, I am pretty positive that Thomas has to be my good luck charm. The whole morning, none of my bullies has came by to bother me. At this point, I would be crying because of all the horrible thoughts they put into my mind. But, nothing today. If this keeps going maybe they would stop doing that for the rest of the year. The rest of the day goes by fast after lunch. Right now, Thomas and I are just talking and patching up our friendship.

"So, what was life like being a famous viner?" I asked. He smiles at me.

"It was alot of fun but alot of people would just want to be my friend just to get famous. And the only true friend that didn't like me for my fame was you. And also all my other friends on vine but you weren't famous and you still like me for who I am." He said. I smile and look at him.

"Well, Thomas. I am not that person to do that. If someone even payed me, I still would have said no." He laughs and I join him too.

"I really did miss seeing you everyday and I'm so so so sorry for not being there when you needed me." He looks at the ground. I pull him up by the chin and I look in his eyes.

"Thomas, it's okay. It wasn't your fault. I decided to let you go. I couldn't hold you back from that." I say sincerely.

"But, I deserted you. I feel so awful."

"But, your back now and I couldn't be more happier. You are my best friend and I care for you too much to even let you feel bad about yourself for even one single second. So, don't beat yourself up."

"Thanks, Iris." I pull him into a hug. I feel him clutch me harder. And it felt good.

Oh My God! Iris! What did we just talk about?! He is your best friend!

Wait, then why did he clutch me harder? Could he possibly like me too?

Don't pay attention to that!

We let go and then the Bell rings. Everyone walks out of the classroom. Soon after, Thomas catches up to me.

"Hey, Iris! Wait up!" I hear him from a distance I stop and he comes right next to me.

"Yeah, Thomas?" I say back.

"You wouldn't mind if I came over to you house would you?"

"Um, sure. I have time. Besides, I have to greet the new neighbors across the street." He smirks at me. "What's so funny?"

"Iris, I'm the neighbor across the street." And I just had the 'your a total idiot' moment.

"Then, okay. But, I have to pick up Marcus and Alicia." I say.

"Aww, Marcus and Alicia. Last time, I saw them, they were like 9. I wonder how much they grew right now."

"Well, you'll see when we pick them up so let's go." I say and I start running towards my car and Thomas runs after me. We get in the car and then the radio starts.

Open your eyes
Open your eyes
Open your eyes
Open your eyes and feel the sound.

Time turns to darkness
We'll all fade away.
Time turns to darkness
We'll all fade away.
No one can find out
What Remains.

I fade away.

Open your eyes and see the crowd.
Open your eyes and feel the sound.
But know the future holds no trace of yesterday.
It can't erase today and take our night away.

But know the future holds no trace of yesterday.

As soon as the song ends, we arrive at Liberty Middle School. I see Marcus and Alicia walking up to the car. They both get in the back seat.

"Hey, Guys! How was you day?"

"It was awesome. I got nominated for student council president again." Alicia said with a huge smile.

"And I'm still popular and how was your day?" Marcus asked.

"Why don't you ask Thomas?"

Thomas' POV

"Why don't you ask Thomas?" Iris said. I turn my head to face them. Wow, they grew so much.

"Thomas?!" They exclaim at the same time.

"Hey, guys! What's up?" I asked in my cheerful mood.

"Thomas! Your back! Oh My God! It's been so long. When did you get here?" Marcus said.

"Well, I'm moving back into the neighborhood again. I'm taking a break from vine and I have to complete my senior year at least." I say. They all smile at me. And I grin.

"Alright, let's get home. I am beat and I want to just throw myself on my bed." Iris said hazily. We all laugh and then we drive all the way to her house.
