Chapter 23: You Made Me

I chiseled a mark into the rusted metal of the beam I found myself comfortable on.

A smirk playing at my lips as my head began to swarm with new ideas for the beloved Silence.

My eyes snapped to the figure looking up at me.

"YOU MADE ME THIS WAY!" She yelled angrily.

I tilted my head back letting myself fall backwards in front of her.

I laughed feeling the insanity drip into my mind.

"Oh...hahah..Hahahahahahah! Oh goody..." I turned around letting her see my eyes.

"You think I made you? No.. I sped up the process. I sent Liu.." I shrugged.

"How? How did you put someone in my head?!" She said in shock.

"The same way your father went it." I snickered.

"How-"

"I think we're done for today,but in the mean time do me a favor and listen to your group and Reese, she really does mean..haha...the best for you." I said sinisterly before letting my speed take me away and out of the warehouse.

Sixx's Pov)

I watched her go. Slipped from my fingers...

I was angry so angry it hurt.

'You feel the hunger in your veins...you can taste it. The flesh...the innocence.'

I could hear her voice gnawing on the back of my mind.

"Silence."

I turned my head to see Puppet.

"We have an objective, we are partners so let's go." She said softly before turning and leaving.

I licked my lips feeling my hunger strike a new high.

'She's tainted as well, she has an interesting psycho.'

As we entered through the door I could see everyone of the team. Ash was looking at me. She gave me a soothing gaze and nodded to me. I dipped my head as Liu put a file on the table.

"Derek Mourse, ex convict...master of disguise and identity theft. Though all that is boring news, he is working with them. He has sent many well, costumes...and identities to many other rebellious madness." Liu explained.

"Silence we'll fill you in on everything in a little bit." Ash said to me.

"He is said to be looking for psychos everywhere, either bringing them over to the Organization or, Killing them before the even know their potential." Liu sighed.

"He is off in the California slums, we can get a plan ride there, Toby can Pilot thanks to April's books." Jeff laughed.

Toby started to clap his hands and he yanked on his hair a bit. Laughing and giggling like a child.

He pushed past me towards another warehouse.

"The great Ticci Toby a pilot..." April snickered.

"You're crazy April, ain't no way-" Liu started.

"Too bad...lets go!" She grabbed my collar pulling me and Liu towards the warehouse forcefully before she let me go.

I felt Puppets hand.

"Why are you holding my hand?" I asked her my voice barely coming out.

Puppet looked at me and slowly let go of my fingers. "We are partners." She mumbled.

I shifted away from,her and walked to board the plane.

"Me, Toby and Liu will hold the lookout." Ash said as Liu nodded.

Toby twitched his neck a sickening crack ringing from the cockpit.

"Silence, you are our hound dog...the Hunter." Liu grinned at me. Excitement dancing in his eyes as he looked at me. I could feel the madness dripping the air, and clinging to my skin.

Ash looked at me and nodded slowly.

I felt Puppet shift beside me.

"We want you to learn everything from her Silence, she knows all of it and what's going on." Ash sighed.

"Why won't you say her name?" April scoffed.

"There is confidentiality,she's playing another game and can't reveal-"

"That's enough Liu." Ash said to him.

Liu rolled his eyes.

I looked at them feeling irritated.

I looked at Puppet.

I wondered what her purpose was to me. And why, why was she so kind to me. Her eyes showed not a single bit of regret for anything. Nothing in them just pure acceptance.
She almost seemed sane.

'Can you smell their hearts, they're black...tainted and bitter like smoke.' I heard the voice in my head whisper.

I can smell them. They were like as she said.

'My name, is yours....Silence is my name.' She chuckled.

As Toby slowed the plane and landed in a large clearing. He turned to me his eyes were severely bloodshot he twitched standing up.

"California, is a day away..." He said to the resting bodies around him.

Unlike the others I couldn't find it in myself to rest.

Toby laid on the wall and entertained himself with his fingers.
