Chapter 8: Almost a new beginning?

Emma was sitting on her bed one morning when jake came in and yelled "GOOD MORNING!" Emma jumped and started laughing, jake loved her laugh, he loved everything about her, HE loved her. Emma got up and kissed him, "good morning!" Jake blushed as usual. They had recently gotten back from their trip to Paris and Logan was finally out of the hospital. So everything was getting better, the way it used to be.
Jake sat next to Emma on her bed, "hey so I was wondering, you want to do something tonight?" Emma blushed, "ok, like what?" Jake smiled with a small grin on his face, "it's a surprise!" As he laughed. Emma wasn't always up for surprises but it's Jake and he always has good surprises. She got up and grabbed her purse and headed to work. Jake called Logan after she left, "hey bro, did you get the one I asked you to?"
      Logan sounding so sarcastically, "No bro, I got the ugly, cheep, shitty one!" Jake got pissed, "oh is that so?!" Logan started laughing, "I'm just kidding, yes I got the one you wanted, now tell me why you couldn't get it yourself?" Jake was cooled down now, "because she would've flipped out if I wasn't home this morning, and I had to watch the dog!" Logan: "ok bruh don't flip out!" Jake was still scared about tonight "sorry man, I'm nervous about tonight."
          "This is a pretty big deal to the both of us, but I know she loves me so I have faith it'll go well." Logan started feeling bad, " don't worry about it, I'm sure it will all go well, so don't be scared!" Jake felt more confident now, " yeah your right, well I should probably do some planing so I'll talk to you later, bye." And with that he hung up and started planing. Only till later in the day Emma came home.
       "Hey babe, how was your day?" Jake looked stressed out, why? You'll find out later. "Oh hey umm it was good, yours?" Emma knew something was wrong, "good......... Are you ok?" Jake looked at her, "yep, everything's fine!" Emma didn't fall for it, she wasn't stupid at all "um, no your not tell me what's wrong?" Jake looked at his note book, "I can't its for tonight." Emma smiled then frowned "don't put pressure on yourself, everything will go fine, I promise!"
      It came around 6:30pm as the sun would be going down soon, Jake was dressed in a black suit with a red tie and his hair looking nice. Emma was just about done, she was wearing a white sun dress and a flower crown on her head. She walked out of her room, Jake was hypnotized by her beauty. He had a feeling this was going to be a good night. Logan was sitting on their couch with Macy on his lap.
     Jake took Emma by the arm and led her to a limo outside their building. Jake smiled at Emma, "so we are going somewhere you've probably been to before but you really liked it there." Emma thought for a second, "oh um ok!" Jake wanted to take her to the place where the had their first date, this would make it more special. As the limo pulled up the the sign, Emma was filled with joy and happiness, "oh my gosh, you brought me back to the most prettiest place?!"
      Jake smiled and started to laugh,  "yeah I knew how much you loved this place so I thought I'd bring you back." Emma smiled, they had a nice picnic, as the sun started to set. Emma got up and walked to the sign as Jake followed. Jake looked at Emma and started talking. "So um emma, I know we've only been together for about a year and half, and when I first met you, I instantly fell in love with you." He paused.
       He got down on one knee and said, "Emma Marie Hart, will you make me the happiest man on earth, and will you marry me?" Emma was crying, "yes!" Jake put the ring on her finger and stood up and kissed her.
        Wow and you tell me that's not a love story? I think it is! Will Emma and Jake get married? When will be the wedding? Find out in the next chapter!
