Chapter 16

For days, Sehun and Luhan hadn't been talking much because of the preparing. Both teams had been grabbing them out of  each other's sight for practicing. Kris, on the other hand, is feeling quite pleased to see that the distance between the two had increased, fairly great. Sometimes, Luhan and Sehun didn't see each other at all. Luhan can't visit Sehun anymore because of the teams. So, they had no choice but to follow whatever they want to do. 

Luhan's team had been practicing on the instruments, specifically Kris. They hadn't practice much on the vocals because Luhan and Chen are good to go. For Sehun's team, they have been practicing on the instruments too. Emphasizing on the electronic guitar and drums. Overall, everyone is getting better each day.

Until finally, they both had a break.

1 month later - 3rd April

Luhan sat on the staircase, gulping down a bottle of cool water like his life depends on it. Sehun came and joined him.

"Aren't you going to practice?" Luhan asked.

"How 'bout you?" Sehun asked.

"Nah. We're done for today." Luhan said.

"Me too." Sehun said. "That means we can be together again."

Be together again. These three words replayed in Luhan's mind. Luhan forced a smile. All of a sudden, he doesn't know where his heart belonged. The few weeks that he had with Kris made him felt that Kris didn't give up on him before and not yet and maybe, never. 

Two days later - 5th April

Lay came running into the dance studio. Everyone were already warming up there.

"Gu...Guys...!!" Lay panted.

"What's wrong?" Luhan asked.

Lay tried to catch his breath and everyone were worried about what the news was. Luhan patted Lay's back and Lay straightened himself up.

"Guys, you know those boys who always makes a fool of themselves?" Lay asked.

"The 2-3 boys?" Chen asked.

"Yeah they! They called themselves B.A.P or something. And I actually peeked into their classroom when they're practicing and I can swear their music is way rocker than Suho told me their group would do." Lay said.

"How is that related to us?" Kris asked.

"The thing is. They hadn't planned a song to sing yet. It's either the rock I heard or a ballad. I heard that from their classmates." Lay said.

"Which mean if they chose ballad, we have a competition." Luhan said.

"Says who? There are other groups out there that are maybe doing ballads." Chen said.

"Guys, for now, you guys practice on the necessities and I will go find out more clues." Lay said.

"Since when you became our spy?" Kris folded his arms.

"Well, I thought you guys need some help. Suho told me how important this is to Luhan hyung." Lay said.

"Important?" Luhan asked.

"You wanted the chance, don't you?" Lay asked.

"Well...no...yes..but that doesn't mean you guys must give your all just for me. Really, I don't care if we don't win this or not." Luhan said.
