Laura's POV
So I told Ross that we could hang out today but we never set a time. It's like 6 right now and I have to help a little bit with the plane in a few minutes because Mark and Riker and flying in as we speak. So I should really set a time for me and Ross to hang out
Laurie😊: morning Rossome just wanted to tell you that I can hang out anytime after 8 so text me when you wake up!
I put my phone down on my side table and started getting ready to help get a plane into the storage room........ I walk outside to see the plane fully landed and on the strip. I quickly run over and see both Mike and Riker get out of the plane.
Laura: welcome back boys
Riker: hey so the storage room is all ready for this
Laura: you bet now all we need to do is get it inside for tomorrow
Mark: alright but do you mind getting a bunch of others to help us l
Laura: yeah.... Ross won't be awake will he
Riker: no he can sleep for hours
Laura: alright good
I run over to the Lynches house and into the front grabbing their spare key sticking it into the lock and walking into the house. The only person I saw up was Stormie so I might as well tell her I'm in her house.
Laura: *whisper* hey Stormie
Stormie: *whisper* hey Laura I thought that was you
Laura: yeah I just need to borrow some of your kids to help with the plane
Stormie: alright go ahead
I run up the stairs and walk into Rydel's room shaking her waiting for her to wake up.....
Laura: Delly wake up I need your help
Rydel: why.....
Laura: it has to do with Ross' present
Rydel: fine
Laura: go out there right away I'll be out in a bit
Rydel: okay
I walk over into Rocky's room and do the same... I decided not to get Ryland cause if I woke him up I could possibly wake Ross up and that wouldn't be good. Us three go outside and help put the plane into the storage room and lock it up
Laura: well I'll see you all later
R3 and Mark: bye Laura
I walk back over to my house and back up into my room.
Ross' POV
I woke up to see that it's now 10. I checked my phone to see a text from Laura:
Laurie😊: morning Rossome just wanted to tell you that I can hang out anytime after 8 so text me when you wake up!
Rossome😜: Hey Laurie I'm up and how about 10 minutes from now we hang out in my basement
Laurie😊: sure that would be perfect
Rossome😜: awesome see you soon
I put my phone down and went to get ready.
[8 minutes later]
I walk down into the kitchen to see everyone sitting and talking about something...
Ross: hey guys
Rydel: hey Ross how'd you sleep
Ross: great why
Rydel: no reason
Ross: well Laura is going to be over in a few and we're going to hang in the basement
Riker: so in those words he means 'leave us alone so I can finally make a move on her'
Ross: okay no.... What I can't hang out with my best friend without you guys thinking we're going to end up getting together... She doesn't like me the way I do and I have to accept that
Stormie and Rydel: *mumbles* yeah... She 'doesn't' like you
Ross: what???
Rydel: nothing nothing
Ross: okay???
Knock knock.... I walk over to the door and open it to find Laura... and Nessa
Ross: uhhh hey Nessa what are you doing here??
Laura: she wanted to hang out with Delly
Rydel: *walks in* Nessa lets go we have stuff to talk about
Vanessa: perfect
They quickly run up the stairs and I look back at Laura with a confused face
Ross: you know anything about that?
Laura: no clue
Ross: well let's go downstairs and figure out what we're going to do
Laura: awesome
Rydel's POV
Me and Ness were sitting on my bed and she was waiting for me to start talking
Rydel: okay so yesterday when Laura was over decorating she came back to our house and my mom wanted her to ask us all of we wanted hot coco. Before she left my room she said 'if you need any help with a guy you like talk to your mom she gives good advice' I think she talked to my mom about her liking Ross
Vanessa: well why don't we get your mom into this convo so she can tell us what she asked us
Rydel: okay I'll be right back
I walk downstairs into the kitchen
Rydel: mom can you come with me... Me and Nessa need to ask you something
Stormie: sure
We walk back up into my room and I shut the door sitting back on my bed
Stormie: so what did you want to ask me
Vanessa: what did Laura ask you yesterday when you were decorating
Stormie: oh yeah I remember she asked
[Flashback]
Laura: well what if one of these two friends started to develop feelings and then the other one did... Then they wanted to get together but one of them was afraid that it would ruin their amazing friendship... What would that friend do?
Stormie: well first if your saying you have a crush on my son.... Rydel already figured it out and told me... But if you two somehow ended up together I think it would be an outstanding pair because you two are so inseparable
Laura: really??
Stormie: listen... Ross was telling me about how he told you that it was fait that tore you parents apart and he said it was for a reason like they weren't meant for each other anymore
Laura: yeah I remember
Stormie: well maybe it's fait trying to bring you two closer and into something more than just friendship because I guarantee that if you ask any of us Lynches or your sister I'm sure they would say that it's just fait doing its job and it already seems like your a couple because of how much time you spend together
Laura: thanks Stormie that really helped
Stormie: well I'm glad it did
[End of flashback]
Stormie: let me ask you something.... Why did you want to know about this
Rydel: we'll see we wanted to figure something else to set them up together faster
Stormie: yes but like I explained to Laura yesterday I will tell you... 'It's just fait doing its job' so let it do its job and get them together on its own time
Vanessa and Rydel: okay
