[Last Time]

Ross: Laura how was your time here in New York without me??

Laura: well at first it was hell for about 2 1/2 years cause I didn't have my best friend I didn't know what to do anymore... soon enough to Vanessa was going to leave me for college and I thought that she was going to go out of state and that just made it worse *starts to tear up* I lost my best friend and then I thought I was going to lose my sister. Last year I finally made new friends but that was last year I spent 8 years wondering if you were ever going to come back but then I started doubting it last year cause it just seemed to me that you liked California and didn't want to come back

I pulled into the parking lot and just sat there looking at the steering wheel

Ross: Laura

Laura: *doesn't look at him*

Ross: Laura look at me

Laura: *looks at him*

Ross: Laura don't you think that I would somehow find a way to come back here.... this place is my home and it's my best friends home. It's where we grew up and where I wanna live.....

Laura: *looks into his eyes* really??

Ross: *looks into her eyes* really

Laura: *thinks: I think I have a crush on Ross*

Ross: *thinks: I think I have a crush on Laura*

Ross' POV
Wait wait wait... this can't be happening I can't like my best friend... I mean yeah she's beautiful and kind and perfect and is hot... okay maybe I do like her. I gotta stop looking at her.

Ross: so let's go in

Laura: *grabs her keys and purse* okay... yeah let's go

We got out of the car and quickly ran into the building. It looked even better than when I came here over 10 years ago... especially since there are Christmas lights everywhere.

Ross: wow it looks even better that it did 10 years ago

Laura: yeah it's changed a lot over the years.... they've even redone parts of it (A/N: I don't think that's true)

Ross: wow

Laura: come on.... I have a perfect place that we can go in here to see a better view of New York

Ross: okay

Laura: Oh and did I ever tell you that.... my dad works here

Ross: wait seriously

Laura: yeah he's here like 24/7 5 days a week and the Christmas party's here are amazing

Ross: wow that's the coolest thing ever.... wait why are people still working then

Laura: well everyone has Sunday's off but today is more of a extra work day if they need it... like my dads assistant Dannie she usually comes in on Saturdays to do some stuff for my dad

Ross: how long has he worked here

Laura: well after he lost his job at the world trade centers in 2001 because of the crash... luckily he wasn't working that day. Ummm he's worked at that one office building remember right next the where the world trade centers were

Ross: oh yeah I remember we would go visit him after school

Laura: yeah well he worked there until a year after you left and his boss promoted him to the CEO of whatever company the my dad works at
