"See you soon mother" Jesy says whilst giving her mum and a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
Her mum was leaving to go to work today as she does everyday, but Jesy stays at home all day reading school books. Your probably wondering why Jesy isn't leaving for school, well shes already at school. Yep, shes home school. Your probably wondering why, well over the past 5 years the town has been trying to capture the most-wanted criminal - Jake Roche. There's always something on the news every week about him like murder, robbery, kidnapping and setting places on fire. Anyway, the reason why Jesy is home schooled is because her mother doesn't want Jesy to be hurt by Jake because she could lose her.
Throughout the day Jesy does a lot of chores like clean the dishes, wash the clothes, hover the house and prepare dinner for when her mother gets back from work which is about 4pm.
Whilst Jesy was playing with her pet cat Tigger the house phone started ringing (Jesy doesn't have a mobile phone), she debated whether to answer it or not. "Hel-lo" she said. She then heard her mothers voice "honey I won't be home by 4pm because work has got behind on stuff and it need to be done asap, so don't bother cooking for me and be careful". Jesy was use to this, her mother was always staying at work until like 3am in the morning so Jesy just ended the call without saying anything back.
Its currently 9:49pm and Jesy started to get bored and hungry so she decided to go and make a late dinner for herself. She decided on a jacket potato as she could wait for long because her stomach was moaning so bad. She normally has dinner with her mother at 6pm ish but she got distracted with studying. After her dinner was ready to took it up to her room and brought Tigger along with her for company.
After finishing her food she went back down stairs to clean up her plate. She decided to but the tv on because she doesn't like being in silent places because she doesn't feel safe. Whilst cleaning her plate she over heard the tv "Breaking New! Most-wanted Jake Roche has been seen sneaking around town and is said to be finding somewhere to hide out. So close all doors and windows and contact 999/911 if there is any issues". Jesy was well aware of this Jake and she didn't want to come in contact with him as he could do anything with her. But she always thought what it was like to go outside in freedom as she hasn't been outside for 5 years because of her stupid mother.
