Chapter 6 - The Truth

Jesy's POV

Me and Jake were running down the village road and I could hear the sirens and it sounded alleywaysplit second to make a decision. He suddenly pull me with him right so we were going back the way we ran but down a unused alley. I could hear the sirens getting quieter meaning they were getting further away. Our past slowed down from a sprint into a walk give us both a chance to catch our breaths.

"What was that for?" I ask with confusion "I've got something to tell you" He says with his head hanging low. We find a old bench and we both sit on it. I look at him to give him the sign to start talking.

"Your probably wondering why we were running from the sirens" He says and I give a nod to show I want to know "Well they were after me" He says like it was nothing, I say nothing but give him a confused look. "Please don't run away from me after I tell you this" He says holding my hand and looking at me with puppy dog eyes. "I promise" I say because I wanted to know the whole story.

"Well for a while now the police have been trying to track me down for multiply crimes"  I have been hanging out with an criminal?  "Do you watch to news" he says and I give him a nod up and down.         "You may know me as the most wanted in town then" it then clicks "Your Jake?" I ask with confusion "Yes" he says with his head hanging down in shame. 

He lets go of my head "Go. You probably don't want to see me anymore. Go ring the police get me arrested" He says with his head still down. I grip his hand in mine making him look up at me and giving me direct eye contact. He gives me a small smile and then drops my hand and his smile drops too.

Jake's POV

I couldn't do this to her. She doesn't deserve to be with me when she can find some else to help her that wouldn't get sent to jail. "Go" I say and nothing else. "But Jake" she says and I could hear the sadness in her voice. "Just GO!" I say in a way I wish I would never speak to her. I hear nothing from her. I felt her present right by me and then I felt her  lightly press against my cheek making me smile but I needed to hide it. She then pull her lips away from my cheek and stood up.

I looked up to see her walking down the alley away from me. I felt my stomach drop and feel empty. She was the only thing that made me forget im the most wanted in town. I could hear light sob come from Jesy and it killed me inside. But I had to let her go, she needed to find someone better than me who would make her happy.

Next thing I know she was no where to be seen. All I could see was rubbish, everywhere. I guess this is where I am staying the night.

Jesy's POV

Leaving Jake down the alley was so hard to do. I wanted to stay but he got so angry and told me to leave and I didn't want to make him angry.

Walking back down the village road which early on I ran down brought back so many memories with Jake I never want to forget.

I then thought how am I going to get home? the sun was starting to set and I didn't know to way back and in the pitch black is even worst. 

I stumbled across the cafe I was in earlier on today with Jake and I saw it was still open so I went in. I couldn't buy anything because don't have any money on me. So really im lost in the middle of a village I don't even know. 

"Can I help you" I heard which caught my attention from my thoughts. I looked up to so a waitress that served us earlier on today. "Um no thanks but thank you" I ask with a smile. She sat down opposite me with shocked me as I probably look a mess from all the cry I have done. "Whats the matter" she asked with a concerned look "Well, I was a boy today and now hes gone and im lost in this little village that I don't even know" I said with a dull attitude and my head low. "How about I make you a coffee and when my shift is over I can take you home" the waitress said with a small smile. "That would be lovely but I have no money" I say with a small smile. "Oh, dont worry the coffee is on the house and the ride is free" She says rubbing my back giving me comfort. "Oh thank you I don't know how I will ever repay you" I say with the smile stuck to my face. "Oh, dont worry" Shes say going off to the kitchen.

She comes back with a take out coffee and she get hangs up her apron. "You ready" she says coming towards me "Yeah" I say getting up and following her to the door. She turns off the cafe lights and then locks the door.

Sorry for not posting recently!  The summer holidays ended and now im back at school and I don't have much spare time to write. But that doesn't mean in going to stop writing! I will try and post new chapters most weekends and if luck maybe one midweek. xx
