What a small world.

Out of everyone, I met Christopher; he looks like the boy in my dreams, and now I saw him in an ally way after being told to try and not cross paths.

And I admit I was scared. I just saw him do god knows what to some girl and who he just got her to slump to the ground like a ragdoll. Slowly, I opened my eyes to find myself looking up at the sky through a glass ceiling. Hm, isn’t that interesting, I thought. My eyes started to close again until I shot up from my slumber.

This. Is not. My room.

I sat looking at a red wall with gold trimmings, a large dresser with a mirror stood in the corner, a small table was in the middle of the room with two chairs and what I presume was a closet was on my right while the door on my left and the king size bed I was on had a black canopy with matching blanket and pillows. Where was I?

                                                            I had absolutely no idea.

I sat there on the bed for about twenty minutes until I heard the door open and in came none other than Christopher. The air seemed awkward and tense, as I still remember what he did to that girl. “Are you ok?” he finally spoke. I finally noticed the throbbing headache I was having.

“Not really,” I breathed, “but I’m sure ill live.” I swallowed hard as he came closer to me and I backed up on the bed. He took my arm wrapping a bandage around it that he came in with. I looked in his emerald eyes and was dazed; he really was beautiful, if that’s what you call a killer. “Did you kill her?”

            “Who?” he asked faking confusion.

“Don’t play dumb with me, that girl I saw you with in the ally way before I hit my head.” I snapped at him. I refuse to be lied to.

“I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

“And I have the idea you do!”

“calm down,” he sighed, “but I really don’t know what you’re going on-“

“Yes you do”

“No”

“Yes”

“No”

“Yes”

“No”

“No”

“Yes” he shouted, “My god” he said then continues swearing under his breath. I must admit, he was cute when he was mad. I. Did. Not. Just. Think. That.

Getting up and walking out the door he looked my way, “Oh and also, you can’t leave” then quickly slipped out the door.

What the hell. I got up walking to the door and pulled it open. Huh he left it open. That’s when I saw the keys on the floor. >:D evil little me. I stuffed them in my pocket walking casually out the door into the hallway. Oh my effing god. The hallway was long. Twist and turns every which way so I took a left, then a right and then went strait. A man that looked about twenty walked from the left then looked up at me smiling. He grabbed my hand and pushed me to the wall, and when he blinked his eyes turned a blood red.

Closing my eyes expecting something but to find nothing as a voice rang out, “Malcolm let. Her. Go.”  Malcolm listened releasing me and I opened my eyes to see a girl with deep red hair and emerald eyes just like Christopher’s stood in front of me.  “Hey im Kaela Kinsley, Chris’ sister.” I looked at her and smiled, “I’m Tala Evans the girl who cant leave.” I huffed and she laughed.

“so you’re the girl Chris can’t stop talking about.” I smirked at this news, so Chris talks about me.

“This is the first I have heard of this news.”

“Whoops guess it just slipped out.” She said winking, that’s when I pulled her in for a hug.

“I have a feeling were going to be good friends.” That’s when I heard Christopher. “But sadly I gotta run!”

“Tala!” his voice boomed running after me. But I ran too, waving to Kaela goodbye I took a left and then another then another until I just ran strait. I heard his footsteps behind me and when I hit a dead end I went into the nearest room shutting the door behind me. I took a deep breath and hid under a bed, I guess this was a guest room. The door opened and his feet stopped and then he started to walk again. I slowed my breath and tried to make it so you can’t hear. All of the sudden an arm wrapped around my waist and he said, “Boo” making me scream.

I got out from under the bed and so did he, “jerk.” I muttered.

“scaredy cat,” he teased, “you should have heard yourself.” He laughed but I didn’t, instead I pulled out the keys he dropped and his face suddenly became serious.

            “Give those back.”

“No” I said sternly, he so was not getting these.

“Tala im serious give those back.”

“Christopher im serious too.” I said mocking him then stuck my tongue out at him.

               “Call me Chris”

“Ok ‘Chris’ now tell me why I cant leave and I might just give these back to you.”

“I don’t have to tell you that.”

“Well then obviously someone isn’t getting these keys back” he slowly walked closer sending me walking backwards until I was pinned in a corner. Oh god. So I threw the keys far behind him and in the blink of an eye he was over there picking up the keys.

He looked up and saw my expression and began to open his mouth but I stopped him, “Get the hell away from me.” And that was the last thing I said before I ran out the door into the never ending hallway.

I finally found my way back to the room I woke up in lying on the bed. Didn’t know what I was talking about my ass. Of course he did, he just wouldn’t tell me. Now I was stuck here because he wouldn’t let me go and god knows when I’ll be able to see Kasey or my family again.

Questions lingered in my head. Was it really him I saw in my dreams? What happened to that girl? Will I see my family? Will I ever get answers?

I don’t know if I will but I do know that’s when I cracked, my face buried in the pillows open for me to cry on. I couldn’t be strong, I wanted to be but what normal person can when they just saw a guy move to the other side of the room in a blink of an eye? I didn’t know a rational reason not to be afraid. That’s when I heard the door click.
