Chapter 23

MADISON'S POINT OF VIEW

I woke up this morning and instantly checked my phone. Still no message from Trinity. I hopped out of bed and went into the shower. It was so weird not waiting for her to come pick us up anymore. Having to get my mom to take me to school or even having to walk sometimes. I didn't like how I chose not to have any other friends because Trinity was all I needed and now I am here at school with these Mindless Behavior boys who mind you has their own lives as well. I walk through these halls by myself now its quite annoying. Once I got out of the shower, I curled my hair up and threw on some light washed jeans and a grey shirt with my grey converses. I applied just a little bit of eyeliner on and some pink lipstick. No I don't normally apply make-up on like this. After we ate breakfast I got a message from Jason. Jason and I are such a good couple. Though I feel like every couple always say they're such "goals", but me and Jason are really goals. lol

Jason volunteered to take me to school which I was happy about. He texted me and told me he was outside which of course he is outside. He lives right next door to me. lol I think it's kind of weird how my boyfriend lives right next door to me. I walked outside after giving my mom peck on the cheek and leaving. As I got into the car Jason gave me a kiss on the lips.

" you're wearing lipstick?". He asked

" yeah, didn't think you'd notice". I smiled

"Of course I would notice... it looks nice but don't take this the wrong way but I think you're prettier when you don't have make-up on". He said

"So I'm ugly now?". I asked

"I said 'Prettier'". He pointed out

I sighed in relief as he drove off. We reached the school and all the boys were outside in the front. Jason and I walked up to them, but Jason's intentions was to keep walking. I thought it'd be cool if we stayed and talked to them.

"Well, well, well ... someone is looking mighty fine today". Prodigy said as he licked his lips

"Yeah my boyfriend told me that already". I scoffed

"Oh. yeah forgot all about him". He said sarcastically

"yeah you didn't forget I was right here, you just wanted too". Jason said

"I know I wanted too". Roc said

"Stop". I spat

"I'm not doing anything wrong". he said

"Babe, we can leave now if you'd like". I said

"I think we should stay here, get to know these guys a lot better". Jason said

"Babe, I don't want too". I said

"Fine, we'll see you guys at lunch". Jason said

We went to class.

Why couldn't he have just walked away? Class was slow as usual. When lunch time came around I was scared. I wonder what was going to happen.

Jason and I sat at a lunch table near the back. It was just us and then these nerds at the end eating their lunches and doing work. I probably should go over there with them.

"Maddy". Jason said

"yeah wassup". I said with my eyes glued to my phone

"what are you doing on your phone?". He asked

"really nothing important". I said still not taking my eyes off the phone

"are you waiting for someone to text you?". He asked

"someone like who?". I asked

"Someone like your best friend?". He asked

"No, why would I be waiting for her to text me". I said

"Because you miss her, call her". He said

"No she's having a good time in Mexico she doesn't need me to be blowing up her phone". I said

"Maddy, do it". He said

"No Jas, if she wanted to talk to me then she'd call". I said

"She's probably thinking the same thing". He said

Jason seemed to be very concerned. It was getting a little annoying. Just my luck though, the boys come walking over. I was hoping that little "we'll see you at lunch" thing was just a threat but they are taking it too far.  As they get closer and closer to the table I stand up to get away from this mess but Prodigy gets in the way.

"No, no, no lil mama slow your role". He says

"Prodigy get the hell out of my way". I said rolling my eyes

"No, your boy threatened to see us at lunch so we're here".  He said

"Listen my "boy" and I are leaving now so if you don't get out of my way we all know there will be problems" I said smiling sarcastically

"Madison you ain't going to do shit". He said

"But your mama will, so Prod i'll give you and your boys 3 seconds to get out of me and my boyfriends way". I said as I began counting down from 3.

Jason stood up and Roc Royal walked up to him. Everything just started happening so fast. All I could remember was seeing everyone running up to all of us and they were recording and Jason and Roc was fighting and the boys were chanting Roc on.

"Yeah Roc, get him!".

I tried to break it up but some random student was pulling me back. I kept trying to break from the grip but it just wasn't getting me anywhere. As soon as I got of the grip I tried to break it up and to my luck some girl grabbed my hair and she pulled me. I hit her thinking she would get off of me but next thing you know she is like literally banging the crap out of me. Then her friends are jumping in and all I know is I am fighting about 5 girls and everyone is watching and recording and where are the teachers and principal when you need them? Im fighting them off one by one. I punched the first girl in the face like three times and then hopping atop of her I continued to hit her then her friend grabbed me and dragged me off of the one girl and she started hitting me. Long story short this was going to be a long day.

The adults came in and it took about 10 minutes to break up all the fights.
