However!
That is not what happened lmao.
I'm almost done with my revisions and upon further inspection, you'll find that from chapter 5 (In Your Nightmares) on, a New Ending Version will immediately follow! Feel free to skip either/or depending on which ending you want! Or read both, up to you!

Hello everyone!
I hope you've been well and that 2025 has been treating you kindly!
After a lot of thought and doubt and questioning myself, I have news!
I will be adding one final chapter to this story. An alternate ending.
Many of you, myself included, found this ending... difficult, to say the least.
I was... going through a very hard time when I wrote this series and I never realized how much that reflected in my work until re-reading it for myself now that I've gotten the help I so desperately needed. Sometimes I wonder if I should just delete the whole thing but then I think of you, my stars. The ones who gained hope from this story, despite the ending, maybe even in spite of it, and I'm convinced to leave it on my profile.
Please look forward to what's to come... I think you'll all be pleasantly surprised with my decision and the way this new chapter unfolds...
