Mal woke up. She was lying on Ben's sofa. She stood up and shook ben awake. "Ben!" She whisper-shouted. "What?" Ben said. He looked like Death had hit him in the face. Ben wore it adorably, though, where she did not. "It's late- help me wake the other lazies!" Ben chuckled and stood up. He looked like he was ready for anything. But instead of doing something gentelmanly, he screamed at the top of his lungs, "We're late for class guys!" Everyone then decided to wake up. "What?" Evie said. She glanced at the clock. "Oh fiddlesticks!" She shouted. "Hang on, guys, I got this!" I said whilst flipping through my spell book. Aha! "We're too lazy to get us ready for the day please- don't go too crazy!"  We were all dressed in ehat we usually wear so we rushed down the hall to our classes. Evie came with Ben and I and Jay and Carlos went in another direction to class. We were half an hour late,
Crap. We opened the door to our class. "Ah, King Ben, Mal and Evie, so glad you could join us." Fairy Godmother said. "Sorry we're late, Mrs. Godmother we slept in, it won't happen again." I said quickly. Mrs. Godmother nodded and we went to our seats. We were learning about the fairytales. This time it was sleeping beauty. Ugh, I know I've turned good, but I wish that my mother had gotten rid of sleeping beauty permenantly so I wouldn't have to deal wuth Audrey. Royal princess? Royal pain in the ass. "So, Mal, what did Maleficant do wrong?" I sighed. Great. "Maleficant was the one in the wrong here. What Maleficant did wrong was hold a grudge against sleeping beauty's parents and put a spell on a baby." I said, bored. The lesson continued with or without me participating in the lesson. Lunch rolled along quickly. We grabbed lunch and sat down with our little group. Carlos, Evie, Ben, Jay, Jane, myself and Lonnie. I had gotten chicken soup with a bit of bread and apple pie with whipped cream for desert. Man, I was hungry today.  "So, how are you after the lesson about Maleficant, Mal?" Ben adked, concerned. He knew it was hard to be in class when they talked about your parents in such a way. Mal sighed. "The truth is, I hated it." She was completely down on that subject. "But I know Audrey loved it." She added.
"Don't worry- it's only one lesson." Ben said. Evie nodded, agreeing with him. "Whatever you say, your majesty," Mal said. "It's probably mine, Jay's or Carlos' turn now, yours is over with now." Evie said, lightening up the mood. Mal smiled. Evie was right.
Short chapter, I know. But because the book is new, I wanted to have SOMETHING on here to start it off. Ly guys xxx
