Chapter 5

BEN'S POV
I paced around the hospital room impatiently. What'll happen? Did it work? I love her! Oh no! You'll find out what I'm talking about soon...
MAL'S POV
I woke up in a hospital room. Classy... wait, where's Ben, Evie, Jay and Carlos? I look to my right and see them. "Hey, guys! How long was I out?" I croaked. My throat was dry. Ben seemed to notice because he got me a cold glass of water. "Uh. Firstly, what do you remember?" Ben asked. "Uh. The last thing I remember was blacking out tied to a chair." I said. "So, everything..." Carlos said. I nodded my head. Ben held my hand and tried to calm me down. "You were out for two weeks..." Ben whispered sadly. My eyes widened in shock. Two. Freaking. Weeks... "Oh my god!" I screamed. "Have you found Maleficent yet?" Ben shook his head. "Nope." I remembered it then. "Well I do, and I know what to do." We discussed the plan. Ben wasn't fond of it, but he had to go along with it if he wanted to protect the Kingdom and everyone he loves.
MALEFICENT'S POV
I was brewing a potion that Mal will use on Ben so she and I will rule the world. The door opened, then shut. "Hello, mother!" Mal greeted as she entered the room. "Hello, my child. Why are you late for our meeting?" I said. Mal's face became scared. "Mother they are here to capture you. Come with me, we'll go somewhere safe." I nodded my head. Wait, could this be a trap? No, Mal loved me because of the spell. I followed her outside only to have something pinch my arm and the world became dark. When I woke, I was on the isle of the lost, with a note taped to my chest. I yanked it off and read it. "Dear Mother, you tried to spell me and make me love you. The spell broke. Love isn't something that I will just give you, you don't deserve it. Kind regards,
       Mal.
I was furious and stuck back on the isle. And there was nothing I could do...
MAL'S POV
I was ready to go to school again.
I headed to my locker. Next I had magic abilities classes. All children with magical abilities are supposed to train their power and use it for good. Only Evie and I had this class because we both haf powers. The Evil Queen was known for doing a spell or two every now and then. "So, what'd I miss during the two drama weeks?" I asked, as Evie and I were walking to Magical abilities class. Evie thought for a moment. "Not much. Audrey called you her friend..." Evie said. "What? Oh my god that's funny! E, she's probably trying to get Ben." Evie sighed. "Oh well. He's only got eyes for you Mal. Doesn't he have a free period though?" I nodded. We got to class. "Now, Class." Mrs. Godmother said. "King Ben will be teaching this lesson because he wants to connect with his people." She said. I facepalmed as Ben walked in. We all knew he was only here to make sure I was okay.
