Chapter 17

BEN'S POV
Mal has been really happy lately. I wonder why... She and the rest of Auradon have forgotten a very special day. Even my parents have forgotten!
MAL'S POV
"You sure you got everything ready, Eves?" I asked. I wanted this to be perfect. Ben would want everything perfect for me, and now that I'm the Queen I have more power so I'll make sure it's perfect. "Yes!" Evie said, annoyed. Honestly, I don't blame her for being a tad annoyed, I'd asked the same question over twenty times. I layed my head in my hands and sighed. "I'm sorry, E. It's just that he makes a big deal out of my birthday and he makes it very special. Last year, I had no power, the year before that, I was in the isle!" I yelled, frustrated. I sighed again. "I just want it to be perfect, ya know? Once in my life, I can actually make it special." I muttered. She smiled. "M," she said. "He will be so happy that you tried this hard to make it special, but as long as you're by his side, he's happier than ever!" She said, trying to help. To be honest, it's working. I hugged her. "Thanks, Eves! You know exactly what to say." Thwn Evie and I got a message from Jay. I read it out loud.
'SAVE OUR FREAKING SOULS.
SOS! SOS! MEET ME AT LIBRARY!'
We headed to the library. Jay, Carlos, Ben, Jane, Lonnie, Audrey, Evie and I were all there. Jay was holding a book. Ben, Evie, Carlos and I crowed around him to see what it read. I read it. "Holy Crap!" I said. I can't believe it. "Well... I know who my father is now!" I said. "In fact, who knew Jafar was a player?" I asked. Yes, Evie, Carlos, Jay and I have the same father.
*~An hour later~*
We put everything in place. I dressed May in a t-shirt that said, 'Daddy's my king' and I had put a spell on Lily so only I could understand her. "Ooh! Is Ben going to like it?" My pup asked. I smiled. "Yes, he will. Ohh! I'm so excited." I said before heading over to Ben and my room. I put on a sad/ serious face and I entered. "Ben... we need to talk." I said. Ben's face fell. Oh I really want to kiss him right now! "Can you come with me?" I asked. He nodded sadly. We headed to the school Gym, where the party was. "Look Ben..." I said. He had tears in his eyes, but he didn't want them to fall.
BEN'S POV
This is it, she's breaking up with me. And on my birthday, too! The love of my life is breaking up with me. What did I do? I should have known I don't deserve her. "Look Ben..." she said. I  had tears in my eyes. 'Please don't fall!' I silently begged my tears. Mal smirked. I was so confused. The lights went on to reveal a birthday party, for me. "Happy birthday!" All my friends including Mal said. I turned to Mal. "You're not breaking up with me?" I asked, relieved. She smiled and kissed me. "I'm nothing without you!" She said. I love her. I kissed her. "Awww!" The whole room said. I chuckled and Jay shouted, "Let's get this party started!" We all laughed.  I saw May in the most adorable t-shirt ever! Wow, Best. Birthday. EVER!
