Disney Descenants fanfic- it's not over yet

Chapter 2

MAL POV
Before Lunch ended, Ben pulled me aisde to ask me something. "Hey, do you want to go out, maybe in well, to a date, with me?" Ben asked nervously. "Yes." I nodded happily. "Bring a bathing costume and I'll pick you up at eight, okay?" I nodded. I had learned to swim. Finally. But It was a piece of apple pie, how could i not have learned sooner? I mentally facepalmed.  I headed off to my next class. After school was over, i headed to mine and Evie's dorm room. As I opened the door, i realised i needed an outfit. Evie and Doug were hanging out inside of her room. "E!" I screamed, knowing it'd get Evie's attention. Evie's head snapped toward me faster than anything I'd ever seen. "Yes M?" Evie said. Oh, of course Evie knew about the date. Ben had probably told Evie before he had  asked me to go so she could buy some new material. "Oh, you know What, E!" I said back, rolling my eyes jokingly. Evie jumped up in glee. "Well, I'll get to work on your dress then." I chuckled. Doug just looked amused. "Hi, Doug." I said, smiling. Doug smiled back. "Hey!" I remembered the day Evie and Doug became a couple officially. I had pulled him into another room, to Ben and Evie's amusement, and threatened to kill him if he broke her heart. The embarrassing thing was that Ben and Evie had heard everything and when Doug and I came out, Ben and Evie were laughing. "Don't scare my boyfriend, and I won't scare yours. Oh Mal." Evie had said. I smiled at the memory. "Mal! Mal! You there?" Evie said as she had waved her hand in her face. "Yes? I said, annoyed. "It's seven! You'd better wear the dress my manicured hands made!" I laughed as she said that. I ran into the bathroom. The dress was like the dress i had for the coranation but it was shorter and had less ruffles. Underneath my dress, I wore my Purple bikini. I wore my hair down and got out of the bathroom, dressed. As soon as I got out, i got yanked by Evie to her makeup table. "E, we're going swimming. Don't put too much makeup- I don't want to have mascara running down my face. I want to look okay, not like Medusa." I said. Evie chuckled. "Well, I'll put waterproof makeup then." Evie said.  I sighed. Nobody could argue with Evie. Not even me. We are like sisters, and Evie only wants me to look my best. Evie seemed to be done around twenty minutes later. 'Knock, knock!' There was Ben's knock. He opened the door and grinned at me. "Looking beautiful as always," he said. I smiled back and took his hand. "Bye, E!" I said before the door shut.
EVIE'S POV
Ben had told me about the date before he told Mal. I grinned at our closed door. Mal had just left and I couldn't help but feel happy for my best friend. No, Mal isn't my best friend. We'd been through too much together for her to Just be my best friend. She was my sister. I smiled, proud. Tonight was going to go well and Doug and I were going out to dinner. I grinned at Doug. "Sorry, had to get my sis ready. Should we go?" Doug knew Mal and I were like sisters. We clearly showed it. Doug nodded and stood up. Now it's time for my date.
BEN POV
Mal took my hand and we exited the building. I took her to the place where we had our first date. She ran towards the strawberry basket faster than I could blink. I chuckled. Oh, Mal. After our picnic we swam a little. We were laughing the whole time.
MAL POV
We decided to swim. It was so much fun! Just then I thought I saw Maleficant hiding in the bushes. 'Come, child.' She whispered. Without my consent, my body moved toward her. Ben looked horrified and said, "Mal, you ok?" The thing I wanted to say was, No, I am not okay, what's going on? But instead my body again moved without my consent and I nodded. I moved closer and closer to Maleficant and she came out of the shadows. "Mal! What are you doing? Don't go with her!" Ben shouted. Now Maleficant had a strong grip on my arm and whatever spell she had put on me had vanished. "Ben! Help! She's put something on me!" I screamed. "Now, now, Mal. Time to go with me dear daughter." Maleficant shouted. Then I was suddenly in another room. It was gold and had no windows. There was a bed and a night table as well as a mini fridge and microwave. "What?" I said before I blacked out.
BEN POV
Maleficent took Mal. I called everyone In the school as well as their parents  to some sort of meeting and that's where I was now. "Now, you must be wondering why I called you. Maleficent is in Auradon and has... she has... kidnapped Mal." I said, whispering the last part but everyone could hear it and I knew. A few tears sprung from my eyes. Evie, Carlos and Jay came up to me. "What?"Evie said, crying. "She'd put some sort of spell of Mal and Mal couldn't control anything. Nor could I," I said. A few more tears sprang from my eyes. Evie was crying and to my surprise, so was Jay and Carlos. But we'd lost someone close to us. What were we expected to do? Evie couldn't breath from the crying and I wss crying more and more as time went by. We stood there for a while. What were we going to do? "Well, what are we going to do?" Evie said, finally able to breath. We just stood there and thought. I sighed. "I- I don't know." I said sadly. We were going to do something. For Mal's sake.
