I jolt up. My muscles are tensed. The same thing happens as my dream. Sweat pours down my head. I wipe the sweat away. My breaths become shallow. My arms go to my throat, and I heave. Scenes from my torture flashes through my mind making the breathing worse, Scott hearing my commotion wakes up. "Skylar are you okay?" His voice is rasp meaning he is not fully awake. My eyes shoot to him. He is laying down hands wrapped around my waist. His head buried into the pillow and eye shut closed. I roll out of the bed and try to breath. Xavier and Addison crooked smiles enter my mind tears began to fall. Obviously falling out of the bed got Scott up. He ran over to me, his hand wrapped around my own. His lips were moving, but I couldn't hear with the sound of my heart increasing. Xavier's smiles increases as I feel his hands go around my throat. Addison and his laughter fill's my mind. He lifted his head to the door and looked back down at me. My vision became blurry, but I could still see the light fill the room. Someone wraps something around my face, and breathing becomes easier. I still have a slight difficulty breathing, but I would be fine.

I now sat straight up in bed, with the breathing machine still attached to me. My ears were pinpointed to outside the door, where the doctor and my family where talking. "Her body went into shock. This is normal considering what she went through. We need to keep an close eye on her, to make sure it doesn't happen again."

"That's not possible." A voice sounds, "Yeah her and her mate are coming home with us." I am guess that the first was my dad cause the second was surely my mother. The doctor clears his throat, "Okay just make sure that you monitor her." They all agreed and said their farewells. Scott crept into the room shutting the door silently. "So we will head to your home tomorrow afternoon you ready." I shrugged my shoulders and took the breathing mask off my face. Scott opened his mouth to protest, but I shot him a look. Patting the spot beside me Scott got beside me.

"I am sorry. You almost died cause I didn't want to wake up." I didn't say anything cause it was true. "I am sorry, can you forgive me?" I turned and looked into his crystal sea blue eyes. "Of course, I don't even blame you. You're the one who needs to forgive yourself. I can see the look in your eyes. But wake up I am fine." He sighs.

"I guess but you almost-." I stopped him, "Exactly, almost. Now you need to forgive yourself so we can get over this. I am sleepy." Scott opened his arms and I snuggled into his chest. His chin rested on my head, and he rubbed my back soothing me to sleep.

The next time I woke up I was still in Scotts arms. His hand was still rubbing my back and his chin resting on my head. I look up at him. My eyes connect with his sleepy ones. "Did you go to sleep any last night?" He shook his head. I sigh and kiss his nose. "Come on shower time." His eyes brighten up, and he jumps out of the bed carrying me with him. I giggle as he sets me on the counter. He starts the shower and turns back to me. His eyes drift to the side, with no doubt he is probably looking at the shattered mirror. Discarding the mirror he looks back to me. He helps me undress as I do him and together we take a shower. It takes a while before we are out of the shower, and now I was sitting the bed with Scott brushing my hair. It seems to be something he likes. Once he is done he hands me the brush and kisses my neck. I pack my backpack I took with me here and get ready for our drive and flight.

The whole drive Scott fell asleep in my lap, and I played with his hair. He had a smile on his the whole ride. When we arrived at the airport I thumped Scotts ear. He shot up banging his head on the ceilings. My brother and mother laugh as my father give us a big toothy grin. While we were waiting on the flight Scotts fingers were playing with my own. "Have you ever thought about getting married?" He never takes his eyes off our hands. I look up to mother, who looks like a fish with her cheeks sucked in. Rolling my eyes I look to the side of Scotts head. He looks up at me. "I can't stand your finger not holding a ring." I smile. He gets out of the chair. My mother gets out the camera. My brother's smile gets wider. While my father, I can see him getting out a gun in his fantasy world. I laugh at him and look down to my mate. "Skylar Ann Hues will you do me the honor of letting me be your mate and husband?" My smile grows and my cheeks hurt from the flames ignited inside of them. "YES!" I yell out for the whole world to hear. Everyone the airport stops and claps and congratulates us. After sliding the perfect fitting ring on my finger, Scott's arm wraps around me under my butt. He lifts me up and I put my hand on his shoulders. I look down to him as he looks up spinning me around. Our smiles match each other's. He lets me slide down in his hands. When I land on the ground safely his hands on my hips he pulls me toward him capturing his lips with my own. Everyone around hoots and hollers as the announcer announces that our flight was departing soon. We grab our bags still hand in hand making our way to the flight.
