Secrets

"You know you two that everyone calls us 'lovebirds' in school?" Said Lukas.

"You don't mean..." began Tino.

"We..." both Mathias and Lukas looked at each other.

"So it's true?" Berwald asked.

"Yeah..." said Mathias.

It was getting awkward. Really awkward. Their best friends knew of their secret. They knew neither Berwald nor Tino would tell anyone about their secret, but it was still a very heavy atmosphere. Until...

"Big brother!" There came a party breaker we all love known as Emil.

"Hello Emil! What are you doing here?" Asked Tino.

"I'm hungry and I wanna eat!"

"Lu, I think Emil wants his food."

"Don't worry little brother, we'll eat soon." Said Lukas.

"I want to eat now! If I don't get my food I'll cry."

"Here Emil, have a cookie." Said Mathias offering him a cookie.

"Is it edible?"

"Yep, I didn't bake it."

"Ok." Emil, you've could at least give us, readers, a bit. Okay, I'll stop breaking the fourth wall. Anyways, back to the story.

"It's a good thing he came. It was getting a little awkward, right?" Said Tino.

"Mm. Shall we...y'know...get married now?" Asked Berwald.

"Eh?! Um, we're too young for that and besides we should first date then meet each other's parents then..." I'll cut it here Tino talks a little too much.

"Lu, can we talk?" Asked Mathias.

"Yeah."

"Don't make out with my brother, he still needs to give me my food." Emil...just stop.

"We won't take too long, I'll give you your food soon."

And they walked away from their friends to talk.

"Things are about to get really hard from now on. Now that they know. I've been thinking, Lukas, shall we make it official?"

"When we get a bit older, maybe."

"When we grow up, shall we make a union? You know like live together."

"Maybe. One day for sure."

"Lukas, do you love me as much as I love you?"

Lukas just looked away, blushing and muttered a soft "yes" as an answer.

"I love you too. Not like a friend anymore, but like my father loved my mother. That's how badly I love you and I'll love you forever."

Another thing about Mathias. Both his parents died. His mother died giving birth to him and his father died a couple of months ago. His aunt takes care of him. On the other hand Lukas has both parents, but his father has at least ten more wives. It kinda bothers Lukas seeing as his father couldn't love his real mother as did Mathias' dad.

"I'd love you too, for eternity, until and even after the end of the world. Even after Ragnarok, I'd love you, Mathias."

A kiss.

But it lasted.

"Big brother, where is my food?!"

And it broke.
