Chapter Six: Peaceful

TAKA
I cuddled with Koshka. She had marks all over her body. Her hair had been tangled up, and she was bleeding in some spots.
"T-taka..." She whispered.
"Yeah?"
"Th-Thank you..."
"You don't need to thank me," I replied. "You knew I would come over."
Koshka smiled, as her eye lids closed, and she fell asleep. I got up and picked her up in my arms. I carried her back home, and let her down on her bed. I just hope that nobody saw that I was carrying a naked body that looked dead. I tended her wounds while she was asleep so she wouldn't be too alert. I bandaged all her bloodstains and gave her water. I left the house after I knew that she would be safe.
THIRTY MINUTES LATER
I decided to go to the nearest dojo and help the master clean up after a day of training. The students there were pretty good fighters. I got a chance to teach them some martial arts as well. I check the time after the training. 6:30 PM. I go visit Ringo, after ditching him for about five days (LOL) since the bar. I walk down the street of the city, walking past houses and camps. I finally see Ringo's house down the block. It looks like a normal town house, with a double door at the front. I walk up to the door and knock. Ringo comes out, "Hi Taka. Enjoying your girlfriend?"
"Sorry for ditching you at the bar, bro," I said while scratching the back of my head, chuckling.
"Well, I have a girlfriend too, Taka."
"Ooh, who is she?"
"Her name is Joule. She makes robots and stuff,"
"Oh Joule. She's nice."
"BRUH YOU KNOW MY GIRL?"
"Yeah, we were friends before you two met..."
Ringo's face goes from cheerful to nothing. Real quick. "I'm sorry?" I say.
KOSHKA
I wake up on my bed, bandaged and healed. The last thing I remembered was that I was in Taka's arms, warm and comfortable. I see that my bath is still filled with water, and I empty it. I stretch my arms out, yawning. I pick some clothes to wear from my closet. I choose the nightgown, since it's night time. I look at the time, 7:00 PM. I go to my kitchen to see if there's anything to eat. Nothing. I sigh and sit on the couch. I look out the window, seeing the sun going down. The clouds are going away, and some stars shine through the sky. I go to my door and open it. I sit outside on my porch for a little bit, admiring the night sky taking over. In the distance, I see the city lighting up. Lights were turning on all over, and people were rushing to get home. I see Taka coming towards my house, with a torn up suit. "Taka!" I exclaim, running towards him for a hug.
"I see you're better now," Taka answered, his smooth voice comforting me inside.
"Thanks to you," I say, smiling. I take off his mask and kiss him, his fur brushing around my mouth. "What happened to your outfit?" I ask.
"My friend Ringo kinda tore it up," He replies, "Long story short, he was mad."
"Come inside, Taka," I offer. He kindly accepts and I go in with him, holding hands.
"Your hair is beautiful again, I see," Taka said, smiling. I just giggle and hug him again.
"You always had a sexy voice," I replied, seeing him blush. He grabbed my hands and slowly pushed me down in the couch. He lays on top of me, and we kiss again. His chest touches mine, and his hand behind my hand. His other hand holding mine. He hugged me from behind my waist, and we both fall asleep on the couch. ~ ❤️
