Crystal Clarity's POV

Today was Saturday and that meant...Farmers Market! I absolutely loved the place. There were plenty of fresh foods to pick from, and the prices weren't shitty at all. Mom served us bacon for breakfast and I was about to dig in when Turqouise Blitz stole one of my bacon strips. This was extremely unfair so I took his entire plate to get back at him.

"Ha! How do you like dem apples?" I cried. He shot me a pissed off glare before attempting to take it back. I used my magic to prevent him from reaching the plate, but he flew over the table knocking down our orange juice glasses. Mom saw what was going on and immediately intervened.

"Stop this chaos!" She scolded. "Crystal give Turquoise his bacon back now."

"Then tell him not to steal a piece of mine next time." I stuck my tongue out at him and he stuck his back at me. Mom moved a piece of bacon off of Turquoise's plate, and onto mine.

"Ugh whatever," he spat. "Just give me my plate back."

"You two are going to have to clean up this mess when you're done too."

Just then dad came down the stairs. His wings were tucked neatly to his side, and his long tail trailed behind him, sliding easily over the carpeted stairs. Dad was so cool. I mean, you don't get much cooler than a dragon! I ran over and engulfed him in a big hug.

"Morning dad!" I said. He smiled and hugged me back.

"Good Morning my shining Crystal."

He went into the kitchen and wrapped his wings around mom, before kissing her on the head. She kissed him back and continued to make more bacon. When he saw the mess on the table he frowned.

"Alright," dad began in his serious tone. "Who was it..."

"It was both of them, Spike. Don't worry. I told them they need to clean up afterwards."

"But mom! What if I miss the farmer's market?" I complained. I went almost every Saturday with Pinkiepie and we always picked out junk food together. Mom turned to me and smiled.

"You won't. And I'm sure that even if you did, Pinkiepie would understand."

Pinkiepie was the best. She was so funny and after we went to the farmer's market, I'd always spend the night at her house and we'd stay up all night baking warm pastries and watching Daring Do movies. It was pretty awesome. I just wished I had more friends because mom and dad were, well, my mom and dad. Then there was Turquoise and he was just my annoying idiotic brother. So technically they didn't qualify as my friends. Pinkiepie was the only one that knew me on a close level. She was practically like an older sister to me.

Anyway, after I finished my breakfast and put my plate in the sink, I began cleaning up the mess.

"Damn Turquoise," I muttered under my breath as I used my magic to clean off the glasses. He was working on washing the table cloth, but no matter how hard he scrubbed, he couldn't get the stain out.

"That's a bummer, Turquoise. You know that was one of mom's favorite pieces," I scolded. He turned to me and rolled his eyes, but I could tell he was starting to panic. I laughed and once I finished my job, ran outside and all the way to Pinkie's house.

When I arrived at Sugarcube Corner and entered the shop, Mrs. Cake greeted me.

"Why if it isn't the one and only Clarity!" She smiled. "How may I be of service?"

"Is Pinkie around by any chance? We were going to the Saturday farmer's market together."

"Of course! How could I have forgotten?" Mrs. Cake laughed and called for Pinkie. "Oh Pinkiepie? Your visitor is here!"

I stood there for ten seconds and then the cheery pink pony came skipping down the stairs. She was sucking on a lollipop and had her saddlebag with her. Who knew what was inside that thing? Pinkie could fit all sorts of stuff in there. One time she pulled an elephant out of that bag. An elephant for Celestia's sake!

"Lalalalalaaa," she sang. "Hello Crystal! Are you ready to go?"

"Yep! How could I not be?"

We both laughed and waved goodbye to Mrs. Cake before leaving the house. I just couldn't wait to get fat on junk food.
