Illusion's POV

Me: Hey miss Clarity?
Crystal💕: Just call me Crystal sir Illusion.
Me: Haha alright. Want to hang out?
Crystal💕: Have 2 ask.
Me: Okay.
Crystal💕: I can😋!
Me: Great😉. Expect to see you when?
Crystal💕: Now.

I lowered my phone and suddenly realized that Crystal wasn't lying. She was actually at the castle now.

"Shit!" I cried, running around my room. I used my magic to jam all my things on the floor into my dresser. That went pretty fast, but I looked like crap. I sprinted down the hallway and into the bathroom, brushing out my mangled fur. It hurt a lot, but I brushed like a madmare. Eventually it looked decent. But then I remembered that the activity I had planned for us I wouldn't really need to look good. Great.

"Hey Crystal." I smiled. She walked into the palace, awestruck.

"Hello Sir Illusion."

We both laughed and I brought her upstairs to my room. We rounded a corner on the way there, and Crystal almost ran into my dad!

"Illusion, no impregnating sixteen year olds."

"She's fifteen and turns sixteen tomorrow."

"Ah. I see. Why you're only..."

"Two months older than her. Bye!"

She giggled as we sprinted down a large corridor and slid into my room. It was rather large. A king sized bed sat in the middle, and I had my own chandelier. There was much more, but I didn't feel like looking at it all. I could tell Crystal was impressed. I smirked secretly to myself because that's what I intended.

As the beautiful purple pony admired the decor, I watched her in awe. The way her hips swayed from side to side as she walked made me tingle everywhere. She was funny too and that made me giggle. I didn't know why. It made me flustered. This was my first time crushing on somepony. There was so much to take in about her. But it felt weird since ponies crushed on me. I didn't normally crush on ponies.

"Wow." Was all that came out. "And this is your room?"

"Yep."

"That's crazy. I wish I lived with you."

"Technically you could."

She let out a nervous laugh and gave me a look that read, if I could live with you I would...but see there's this thing called mom. It made me crack up and I watched her smile out of the corner of my eye. She could make me laugh like no other pony could. Crystal Clarity was something special.

"Ahem, Crystal?"

She turned to me and blinked her stunning blue eyes.

"What is it?"

"Do you like swimming? Because that's what I was thinking we could do together!"

Crystal looked like she was contemplating something, before a feeble "yes" came out. I grinned and led her down several winding hallways and two sets of stairs before we came to the pool.

The room was hot and muggy and I already longed to be in the water. She shot me a nervous glance as I began running down the pavement ground and doing a canon ball into the water. The cool water soaked my fur and the strong smell of chlorine hit my nose. The scent was relaxing though.

"Come on Crystal! Jump in!"

"O-okay..." She stuck a hoof in the water and drew it back like she had touched boiling water. I cocked my head, confused. She inhaled deeply before jumping in. I smiled, but when she surfaced her face was contorted in fear.

"Ahh oh my god it's COLD!!!!!!" Crystal began flailing her arms splashing water in my face. It took me a while, but then it hit me. Crystal was afraid of water. Either that or she really, really hated it. I grabbed on to her waist and set her down on the pavement. She was shaking violently and I started to get worried. But then she stopped and I sighed. My eyebrows were furrowed. I guess I should have asked if she wanted to swim first. This was shameful. I sat down and waited for her to sit up. Three minutes later she opened her eyes and stood up shakily.

"I-Illusion?"

"I'm here."

Crystal fell into my lap, her fur matted and poofy from the water.

"Sorry, but I hate water," she said giggling. She booped my nose and I smiled down on her. I began stroking her hair and that's when her face turned serious. She seemed to be watching me intently.

"Illusion?" Crystal hiccuped. "D-do you like me?"
"I-well, yes. You are a very pretty pony."

She grinned and turned red. "You really *hiccup* think so?"

"Of course." I caressed her cheek with my hoof. It was embarrassing to confess, but at least the truth was out. I felt so much better.

"Awe." She caressed my cheek back before saying, "I like you too Illusion. A lot."
