Okay, I've let the poll go on for a week and a half now. Currently, a vast majority of yall were fine with either decision, while about five people voted for each of the options.
I've decided that I will be rewriting the series.
The new book will be my 3rd adaptation of this series and should be more concise and updated to my current writing style.
This book first came out in late 2022. My writing style has changed significantly since then, which makes it difficult to update my older works when there's such a big disconnect.
Each chapter will be broken down into segments separated by the character's POV. Chapter word count should also increase to a standard 7,000......this means higher-quality chapters at the expense of waiting longer for each chapter.
Everything important will remain the same in the new book, that is non-negotiable, but some of the smaller, less important details may be changed.
I'm also planning on rebooting The Depth's of insanity at the same time I'm working on the God of Agony and Evolution: Rebirth.
The two of them are the books which have defined me as an author; delving into the human psyche and how to grapple with the darkest manifestations of oneself. If one's getting a fresh coat of paint, so too, should the other. I hope yall will read both of them when they are released.
