I know many of you love this book and it's my most popular one by miles, but I've been struggling over it for a year now.
The earliest chapters are vastly different compared to what my writing style is now and it makes it difficult to recognize if I made a mistake and where I would have edit it to fix said mistake.
The pacing also has been a glaring issue. I know exactly where the series will end up, but I'm struggling on how to write getting there. It's similar to taking a road trip and knowing the destination, but getting confused about how to get there and if any detours are necessary.
So I will the choice to you, the readers of this book.
1. Should I do another remake of this book and start completely from scratch to better line up the characters/plot and get rid of the unnecessary bloat? It would be a full reset designed to remove unnecessary or stupid segments like Atlas seeing Ruby with drones despite nukes having an active EMP field.
2. Rewrite this specific version and update the old chapters to make everything more seamless? This would honestly take more time than option 1 and may make things worse if I mess it up.
I'll give this pool a week to maybe a week and a half.
