"Gooooooooood moooooooorniiiiiing! Rise and shine sleepyhead!"
I peeled my eyes open. Right after the decision had been made on where I would sleep the next night, the princesses had left and the other ponies, except Twilight, went home.
Now a pink blur was appearing and disappearing in front of the window.Pinkie pie? Why is she here so early?
"Are you coming? We have a day full of laughter to get started!"
Oh, right. Gotta learn about friendship. I stood up and walked to the window. "Yeah, I'm coming Pinkie." I trotted to the kitchen to see a dragon cooking pancakes. "You must be spike. Er, I need to have breakfast so I can leave with Pinkie."
"Hi. Sugar, right?" When I nodded he pointed to a plate sitting on the table. "Your pancakes are over there."
I smiled my thanks and inspected my empty plate. Wait, empty? "Hey, I thought you said there were pancakes over here."

"Oh, but there are!" Spike replied, sending the pancakes flying in my direction. Next came syrup and berries.

"Aah! Don't do that!" I said when they landed on my plate.

"Sorry," spike said with a snicker.

"Ok, I don't have time for this!" I picked up my pancakes and carried them out the door in my mouth. Swallowing, I greeted Pinkie and asked her what we were doing.

"We're going to the fair! There are tons of suuuuuuper fun games we can play! And after we can go to the comedy barn! That way you can learn about laughter and having fun! Let's get a moving though! We don't want to waste a second of fun!" And with that she galloped away towards the center of Ponyville.

~30 minutes later~

"Suuugaaaaar I wooon agaaaaaiiin! Don't you love the fair?" We had just gotten to the fair and already tried every little game twice, Pinkie winning most times, but I managed to beat her at the human trivia quiz (I wonder why:-P) and the height game where you had to see who was tallest. I won by an inch.

"Pinkie," I said between fits of giggles, "w-why don't w-we go on th-the r-rides now?"

"Sure! The just put a new one up yesterday but I only got to try it 23 times! Its called the Fire ball and it spins you upsidedown and back and upside down and back a bunch of times! You've got to try it!" And with that, she darted off, dragging me along.

~7 Hours later~

I stepped off the Leviathan. My head was spinning, and, by the looks of it, so was Pinkie's beside me. It was starting to turn dark and we rode every ride at the fair. Time for the comedy barn, I thought.

"Let's get our comedy on!" Pinkie grabbed me and tied me to her back (with what you ask? She's Pinkiepie, who knows?) And sped to the barn. Placing me in a seat, her beside me, the show began.

~2 hours later~

We were at sugar cube corner for some rest. I had an ecstatic day. I actually enjoyed it!

"We are going to sleep soon, so you should write that letter to the princess!"

"Oh! I forgot! Thanks Pinkie!"

"No problemo! Here's a scroll and some ink!"

I smiled my thanks and began to write:

         Dear Princess Celestia,

Today I learned that when you're feeling down, just go to a friend to cheer you up and laugh with you! Sometimes you can be really scared or frightened, but what Pinkiepie taught me on the Leviathan is that a friend will always comfort you in a time of doubt. I was screaming my heart out on that roller coaster, but when I looked at Pinkie, she was laughing. LAUGHING! On a roller coaster! I decided to try to copy her, and ended up crying because of how fun it was! In the mini games, she beat me a lot, but I didn't cry or get angry, because its all in good fun, and its not like someone was recording it or anything. In the end, I learned that friendship is impossible without laughter.

                                                                    sincerely,
                                                                             Sugarblossom
