Chapter 2
Beep----beep----be-....... alarm clock, hate them. One in the morning, time to leave. I brush my teeth, pull back my hair into a tight bun (mom says i look like a librarian), and got in the silver volvo. Dont worry, were not rich.
As I sat there waiting for dad, mom, and Kruk to come out, i looked up the sky; the moon was red. A lunar eclipse was happening. It was a pretty sight to see until Kurk came out being a dip shit, as usual.
"Wooooo!!!!!!! Germany baby!!!!!"
"Oh my god! You are not normal"
"I wasn't since birth Aleera"
"Well keep it down, your gonna wake the neighbors."
"I dont give a shit. We dont live here no more so were free to do whatever the hell we want. Yea!" Ugh, brothers. Can you live without them?
Finally, thing one and thing two came out and locked the house behind them, when they got in the volvo dad said "okay kids, look at the house for the last time" and so we did, we drove slowly down the road as our house was fading by every inch we drove until it was jsut a spec of dirt. And it was gone.
The ride to the airport seemed to take forever. Dad was driving talking to mom about the plain tickets and crap, Kurk was sound asleep: snoring like a damn fire engine, and i was just staring out the window into the night looking at the stars and the lunar eclipse. I wonder how awesome it would be to see it face to face in space? Would it be like seeing a new pain of skinny jeans that you see at the mall and you think you just have to have them? that would be cool.
I look to my right and see the airport. Kurk was now wakeing up which means he'll yelling bout Germany threw the whole damn airport. As we parked and got out we all got our bags and went inside the airport. Inside it smelled like coffee mixed with the aroma of people, its a nice scent, if your not sweaty. One by one we went through bad check and all that mumbo jumbo shit that you do in airports. Then we boarded the plain and I had to sit by Kurk..... yay.... NOT!!!
We took off. Kurk is head banging to what is sounds like Black Veil Brides, i hope he loses his hearing. Just kidding. I looked out the window and see the little gray clouds just moving slowly with the wind and see the early morning birds flying wherever they go.
Its about four in the morning and Kurk is now snoring like Resputia off of the movie "Norbit". Good God i need to get that boy some nasal stuff to keep him from snoring. I looked over Kurk and see that moms asleep and dads on the phone with probably his boss, who knows. I sat back and relaxed then I slowly dirfted off to sleep. Everything seemed at ease.
"Aleera! Wake up damn it, we're here!" I almost slapped him in the face cause he scared the crap out of me. I saw people getting off the plain and that we were at the airport. I got up and followed my family to the otherside of what seemed to be like a tunnle thing leading to the airport. When all of got there, it was huge. There was a dorm on top of the airport and the sun was shining which made everything seem more bright and shinyer. I was hearing alot of German. techincally people here already know were from america so they said "hallo" and we said "hello" now Kurk was like "Hey man" or "Was'sup" *sigh* sometimes he forgets his meds.
We got into a taxi and rode to our new house. Everything here seems nice and pretty. I saw some beautiful gardens, statues, anything that caught my eye, it was just breath taking.
All of us got to the house, my dad tiped the taxi guy and he said "Ich wunsche dir einen schonen Tag (have a nice day) " and I said "Sie (you too)" my dad just looked at me clueless and I just smiled and went inside the house.
Inside was cool looking; all the walls were a cool, cream color, it was already furnished with black leather, the kitchen was like what you would say on a cooking show in those nice houses. I went upstairs and found the perfect bedroom for me; it was a simple size, a frozen purple icy color on the walls, white closet doors. It'd look more nicer when it was furnished.
"Aleera!"
"Coming!"
I rushed down stairs and of course, its a person who speaks German and they need me to translate.
"Willkommen in der Nachbarschaft," said the woman, she even had a pie. How sweet
"She said 'Welcome to the neibourhood'" and you all know the rest.
The moving van showed up and we start to put everything in place in our rooms. When it was done, i just layed on my bed and closed my eyes for a good few minutes until i heard Kurks radio blaring his heavy metal. I just want to shove that radio right up his ass sometimes.
It was now seven at night which means it dinner time, we all went out to this German restaruant and ate came back home and rested some more. Tomorrow was the day tha Kurk and I were going to be enrolled in a new school. I'm kinda nervous, i've never been nervous for school before in my life. Maybe it's because were in a differnet country and out of state, i dont know. I guess i'll be fine. Kurk, i don't know about. He's always happy go lucky whereever he goes so i bet he aint nervous. When it was time for bed, I looked up at my Grandpa's t-shirt that i hung up next to me.
"Watch over us tomorrow Grandpa, keep us safe" then i drifted off to sleep. Two hours later, Kurk plays his rock band game.
"Kurk! Shut that damn thing off, I'm trying to sleep!"
"Oh shit!, Sorry!"
Welcome to my life.....
