A/N --- Becca's outfit will always be found in the external link. I do not own any of these characters/actors in this story. This is simply a fan written story because The Middle is my favorite show. xoxo

Axl's POV

"Mom?" I ask, watching both my mom and my dads heads turn to see what I need. She just nods, urging me to continue with what I was going to say. "Morgan's coming over, k?" I say as more of a heads up and less as a question. Mom just nods at me, looking back to that stupid wheel show she usually watches.

The doorbell rings twice and I watch my parents to see who will be answering the door. "Mom, the doorbell is ringing." She just rolls her eyes at me, staying in her seat. "Fine, I guess I'll just do everything around here." I huff, dragging myself to the front door. I twist the doorknob, opening the door only to find Morgan standing in the snow, her cute little nose all red from the cold.

"Hey, baby." She grins, pulling herself into me for a hug. I smile and wrap my arms around her, kicking the door shut before placing my arm around her shoulder. Her cold hands touch my bare skin, my body being only covered in a pair of black boxers. "So, I was thinking that we should study for that math test coming up first, then we can-"

She gets cut off by the doorbell, a groan coming from my lips. I release her from my grip, moving to get the door once again, figuring it was a pizza man or something. "Oh, look at this. I'll just get the door one more time because I do everything here."  As soon as I open the door, I'm greeted by my favorite pair of blue eyes.

Her face changed, became more defined and mature while her height practically stayed the same. Her old blonde short hair is now long and straight, reaching her hip (which is much more filled out than before). Her flat stomach shows between the end of her sweatshirt and her jeans that hug her just right. Makeup is on her face, something that I know for a fact she doesn't need.

"Becca?" I choke out, her lips forming a grin to show me her brace-free teeth. Instinctively, I move closer to her as she jumps into my arms, my hands clasping on the backs of her thighs. Her vanilla and strawberry scent fills my senses, my head pushing further into her neck. Her hands run through my hair, tugging lightly at the ends. "God, I've missed you." I mutter into her hair.

One of my hands moves from her thigh to her lower back, pressing her further into me. "I've missed you too, Axl." Becca's arms pull me tighter to her as the chill from the winter nips at my near naked body. I step back, trying to get in the house but end up tripping over the entrance step, causing Becca and I to topple over.

I roll on top of her on the carpeted floor, her legs wrapping tightly around my waist. "Don't ever go to private boarding school again." I whine, pulling away just enough so that my face is centimeters from hers. "Do you understand me? I can't go another five years without my best friend. It's been absolute hell."

She giggles, pushing my hair from my face. "It was only a three and a half years. But don't worry, I'm finishing my senior year with you." I smile at her, getting lost in her eyes slightly when a cough brings me out of my trance. I look up and notice Morgan standing above us, a small scowl on her face. I stand up, pulling Becca to her feet as I go. She fixes her beanie and smiles at my girlfriend.

"I'm Morgan, Axl's girlfriend." Morgan accentuates the last part of that sentence, smiling right back at my best friend of 18 years. "And I'm not entirely sure that I know who you are?" I furrow my eyebrows, knowing for sure that I've spoken about Becca before to her.

"Axl who's at the...Becca?!" Sue screams from the hallway, charging full force towards the small girl next to me. I place a hand on Becca's back, keeping her from falling over as Sue slams into her. "When did you get back? I've missed you so much, well, not as much as Axl. All he talks about is you and how funny you would find certain things that happen during his day. But still, I missed you."

Becca grins, pulling away from Sue. "I've missed you too babe." My parents look into the hall, their faces instantly brightening up from the sight of their favorite child. "Hi, mom. Hi, dad." Becca says, running into their open arms. My dad towers over her so he leans down to wrap and arm around her shoulder as my mom holds Becca tightly to her body.

"Okay, okay, let's not break my best friend." I call, pulling Becca from that little group hug and back into my arms. She rolls her eyes at my, pushing me away by my chest with little force. Just then, Brick rounds the corner, his lips curling into a huge smile at the sight of Becca.

"My favorite sibling is home!" He hollers, running to hug Becca. She bends down slightly and picks him up. "Are you spending the night? I can show you my new books and maybe tomorrow we can go to the library and I'll show you the new non-fiction section in the north wing!" Brick smiles at the blonde girl.

"I don't think I'm spending the night tonight, maybe soon though. I just got home, you know? And besides, you have company." Becca says, smiling genuinely at Morgan who doesn't give the same response. "But don't you think for one second that we will not go to the library tomorrow morning, okay?"

Brick nods excitedly at her words. "Excuse me, but my favorite child will spend the night here on her first night back home do you understand me?" My mom says, popping her hip out. Becca chuckles and nods, complying to my mothers request. "Axl can take the couch and you can have his bed, just like old times."

"No? Becca and Axl used to sleep together, mom." Sue corrects, a red tint starts to form on Morgans cheeks. "In that stupid twin bed that didn't fit both of them so Becca would just sleep on top of Axl, remember?" Sue continues, the redness spreading across Morgans cheeks to her neck and the rest of her face.

Becca cuts in, looking at me sympathetically. "We were younger then, you and I can just share a room, Sue. Plus, Axl and I wouldn't fit into a bed together now anyway if he still sleeps like he used to." I crack a smile, looking between the two blondes in my foyer.

"Sounds great." Morgan half smiles, narrowing her eyes at Becca.
