Henry's POV
The man hit the lever and the trapdoor opened, letting me and all the other kids in my cage free fall to the ground. Everyone was screaming as the cage rocked back and forth. All the 8 year olds were crying and everyone was screaming. I was trying to keep my balance but a little girl rammed into me, probably by accident. I fell over and my head was between the bars sticking out. My face went right through a cloud, and when it came out, it was covered in water. I forgot clouds were made of water. I stood back up and a girl a year younger than me was staring at me. "I know it's scary but there's no need to cry." She told me. "Oh no I wasn't-" I started but we hit the ground causing me to fall on my back. The parachute covered the half of the cage I wasn't in, giving half of us shade. The girl walked up to me. "What do we do now Henry?" She asked me. I looked around to find everyone else staring at me. I guess I'm the new leader. "We need to find a way out of here, before the group comes to get us, and kill us slowly." I told them. I pulled the girl aside. "What's your name?" I asked her. "I'm Kylie, I'm 12 and I'm from New York City." She told me, a little shy. She had bright red hair and Brown eyes. "Ok Kylie, if I'm gonna be the leader, I need you to help me out ok?" I asked her staring into her eyes. "Yes." She said putting her hands behind her back and rocking back and forth on her feet. "I have an idea." She told me blushing. "What is it?" I asked her hopefully. "Well um, if- if you don't want to use it that would be- that would be fine. But my idea is to see if one of the girls has a bobby pin which we could use to unlock the lock and run away before the group gets here." She said quietly. "Kylie that's a great idea." I told her looking at all the girls hair to see if any of them had a bobby pin on them. Kylie looked up at me, her brown eyes shimmering with Happiness. "You really think so? My parents always told me I could never come up with any good ideas." She said looking away again. "Well your parents aren't here." I told her. "You get to have a say in everything you want to, you can help us. I told her. I reached behind her and ripped a bobby pin from a girls hair. She turned around and I realized it was actually a guy with long hair. He gave me a look as I started to pick the lock. It came off and I swung the door to the cage open. Once everyone was out I saw a girls dead body a small distance from the cage. She was the girl with the camera doing the video blog with her friend. There were gasps as others realized who it was. Then two more bodies fell from the sky. The first was one of the terrorists which people cheered about, seeing that one of the people who locked them up was dead. The second was a boy that was around the age of 9-10. People were genuinely sad about him. We didn't realize the trucks roll up, with more terrorists with them, and lots of machine guns. They pointed the guns at us and then pointed to the three trucks. We all got in them, Kylie was put in a separate truck which I didn't like, she's shy and needs help to survive this.
